Ive been living in one of the older buildings here for about five years and I have nothing negative to report What I like most is the area itself its quiet nice to stroll around in has wellspaced buildings and a plethora of wildlife deer birds even chipmunks Plus youd never guess youre in the middle of a park when Walmart is just within walking distance My apartment is one of the cheaperolder ones there are newer ones with different floorplans but it suits my needs The appliances are decent and windows are large Central heating AC is also great My upstairs neighbors floor sometimes creaks but theres good soundproofing since Im on the bottom floor Some apartments also have beautiful views unfortunately mine does not though my cat loves watching all the birds In terms of price vs quality ratio I was satisfied as well when apartment hunting here beforeLastly Gia whos an amazing property manager has been so accommodating regarding lease extensions during my move to Seattle maintenance staff are also topnotch at keeping outside looking neat tidy more ... hide ...

I have been living at the Uptown Square Apartments in Troy for 6 months and it has been an awful experience On February 4th I was informed by the office management staff that I had to pay a late fee for Februarys rent based on an incorrect balance amount they had given me If I hadnt paid it I would not have been able to move in furthermore they threatened to take away my rental discount from my company if there was another late payment To make matters worse fraudulent police reports were filed against me leading to CPS cases which were eventually closed However now City of Troy is pressing charges against those closed CPS cases despite them being false and dismissed Additionally someone scratched my car twice on July 26th and 28th when a police report was made on the 28th afterwards nothing was done about it They are also trying to evict me with a renttoquit notice despite me never being late with rent payments before apparently due to other tenants complaining about unsupervised children around the complex which isn't true and my pet dog running off leash which is true My neighbor is receiving similar treatment even though she hasnt violated any rules either This apartment complex isn't suitable for single mothers with young children as any noise will lead other tenants complaining about them not only that but Uptown Square Apartments staff are manipulative and racist too From what I heard in court when talking about this place more ... hide ...

The apartment complex Ive been living in for almost a year has gone downhill since the management team changed Katya and the previous team were helpful but now nobody answers their phones when they know its a tenant My unit had issues like a broken dishwasher dirty carpet and laminate when I moved in plus no air conditioning for an entire month at the beginning of summer due to poor maintenance which still happens if it gets too cold outside Anthony from maintenance is one of the few people who is thorough and helpful There were also problems with my mailbox lock not working so I couldnt receive mail paper thin walls and ceiling plus something living in the roof that makes noise nonstop when Im home The road and parking areas have pot holes big enough to drown in For all this trouble Im paying over 1285 though my lease says 1250 for under 800sqft while outside temperatures were in the 60s inside was reaching 80s When discussing these matters with property manager she said bad reviews are only written by people who don't pay rent which isn't true Save your money as there are nicer apartments nearby at cheaper prices beacon management should be avoided at all costs if given a choice between them or homelessness then homelessness wins hands down more ... hide ...

For the past two years I have found this place to be an exceptional place to live The apartments are fully carpeted and they offer amenities such as an outdoor pool a fitness room with modern equipment laundry facilities in every building and roundtheclock access to a machine where you can reload your laundry card In addition there is a room with furniture and kitchen area which can be rented for a small fee this fee is returned upon completion of your event and satisfactory clean up Furthermore there is a Community Garden open to all residents at no extra cost plus storage units in various sizes on sight The staff makes sure that people get what they want whether its living in either smoking or petfriendly buildings There are also color coded dumpsters for trash and recyclables near each building these doors lock automatically for everyones safety We pay 1095 per month for our first floor two bedroom apartment plus 4860 for our 5x10 storage shed which isn't bad considering the amenities provided But keep in mind that Sugar Hill at the Glen is more expensive even though its owned by the same people who own Sugar Hill Apartments more ... hide ...

After residing in this area for five years I have nothing of substantial complaint There are no amenities available on the premises so youd have to drive to Sugar Hill for a pool gym or game room Ive never been there The management is wonderful and they always respond quickly For example one Labor Day I had a power outage and they arrived within thirty minutes to fix the switch in the building Another issue was when I was locked out of my unit again they were quick and effective In comparison with Troy Gardens which has similar rent this building both exterior and interior looks newer and is kept up nicely Unfortunately my neighbor upstairs was rather messy which caused water leakage into my bedroom after heavy rains because they left their window open without supervision They can get noisy late at night as well around 23 am which can be heard clearly due to notsogreat sound insulation but thats expected living in an apartment complex so its best to be considerate of your neighbors by not making too much noise yourself Parking space is ample never experienced difficulty finding a spot here unlike some other places like Cedar Park where you might be asked to move your car following snowfall mornings As its quite removed from downtown there isn't much cause for security concerns apart from having had a package stolen once that wasnt recovered just one Overall its an alright place if you luck out with good neighbors or live on the third floor away more ... hide ...
