Living here for almost a year has been fantastic the staff are always reachable and accommodating the maintenance man is very kind and helpful and the building is clean The residents are also very friendly I would highly recommend this place to anyone the only downside being that underground parking is a bit pricey plus there have been some renovations whil 2022-10-28T23:02:20Z

The building is quite old compared to the new condos in the area Yet they have recently been renovated and are well maintained The management is quick to respond to requests and I never have to wait more than a couple of days for a resolution Moreover the location is ideal in less than a minute you can be at the Ctrain station from our back door plus Safeway 2022-10-29T00:32:18Z
The building is quite old compared to the new condos in the area Yet they have recently been renovated and are well maintained The management is quick to respond to requests and I never have to wait more than a couple of days for a resolution Moreover the location is ideal in less than a minute you can be at the Ctrain station from our back door plus Safeway is close by Additionally all utilities are included in our rent so we don't need to worry about higher bills when winter arrives unexpectedly An amusing thing not necessarily negative that occurred recently was that large decorations were added to the lobby with some odd tastea huge fake lamppost velvet blue sofa and even a flashing signpost with Hoist Way above it along with an art piece of a peacock The only improvement I would like them to make would be for them or tenants clean up the laundry room better since it tends get quite dirty Hopefully this issue can be resolved by everyone wiping down machines after use or having management clean it daily like they do with other public areas of the building Also there have been two false fire alarms but neither one was due to negligence on behalf of management most bad reviews come from issues caused by nonresidents being allowed into building without permission To conclude Im content living here as long as rent doesnt increase anytime soon more ... hide ...

My advice don't live here I made the mistake of renting an apartment here and have since been tormented by the building manager He inspects me constantly and charges unexpected fees Hes also lied to me multiple times To top it off there are frequent water shutoffs and my apartment had no heating when I moved in which raises serious questions about safety If 2022-10-12T00:02:16Z

Living in Elata for the past 16 months has been a great experience We were initially unable to go on an inperson tour due to the pandemic however Tim took us on a FaceTime tour and photos were also very helpful In the end we chose Elata over another building which shall remain nameless Even though their suites looked nice there was no FaceTime tour available 2022-10-12T00:32:17Z
Living in Elata for the past 16 months has been a great experience We were initially unable to go on an inperson tour due to the pandemic however Tim took us on a FaceTime tour and photos were also very helpful In the end we chose Elata over another building which shall remain nameless Even though their suites looked nice there was no FaceTime tour available and reviews of this building were terrible including reports of breakins and walls like paperElatas amenities and building have been wonderfully maintained with the help of QuadReal app for maintenance requests resulting in immediate response to urgent issues such as smoke detector beeping while more mundane requests are still dealt with timely The staff at office Emily and Autumn specifically have been very pleasant and professional in responding to all needs of residents while previous staff such as Tim who has since been promoted and Jay had responsibility over all Glenmore Gardens properties Although rent is higher than what we wanted to pay initially it is worth it given our proximity to so many places shopping centers walking trails JCCs etc plus diverse population including young people old people babies etc which makes us feel safe here this security is further reinforced by nightly patrol from a security person To sum up choose Elata and you wont regret it more ... hide ...

The Good The apartment is modern and clean looking nice both inside and out The people that live here are friendly and the units are aesthetically pleasingThe Bad In the past alarms and announcements were frequently going off causing disruption People had to move their vehicles from the parking lot for maintenance in the early morning hours which caused complaint from night workers After a few months of this occurring every couple of weeks it eventually improved due to complaints The appliances and cabinets in each unit have design problems causing lack of space which makes it difficult to fix broken items without pestering someone An annoying safety regulation occurs every month when fire alarms go off for testing however annually each unit requires additional testing done by staff who manually test it which can last up to three days with your fire alarm sounding every five to ten minutes for six to eight hours per day meaning one must leave their apartment or suffer very loud noises during this time Dogs of all sizes are allowed but some owners don't train them well so waking up due to barking is not unheard of with open windows during summertime adding more noise pollution early in the morning Every year there is an issue where air conditioning goes out during hot weather maintenance takes days or even weeks before fixing it making already small and stifling units even worse as you pay for air all year round yet cannot use when needed most Unit inspections occur with 24 hour notice but used to be more frequent than now more ... hide ...
