Where do I even begin We applied for an apartment in Chteaugay two years ago and our two cats were accepted Within a few months the toilet broke and leaked water into the unit below but it only made a small puddle The insurer said there was no way that the apartment downstairs was flooded Unfortunately we have been bullied since then there is often a lack of hot water and sometimes even no water at all The elevators are always breaking down at least once a month and the fire alarms go off for nothing The secretary has been unpleasant to us she told my spouse she would never have allowed us to move in if she had known about my depression followed me twice to the laundry room via surveillance cameras didnt take responsibility when cars were parked in our lot even though we paid for parking and said it wasnt sensible to keep cats here when I signed the lease even though THEY accepted them Theres always marijuana smell coming from next doors balcony so we cant open our windows in summer mice in lower cabinets noise from repairs or neighboursand you must pay for EVERYTHING parking storageeven just locking your bike You even need 10 minimum at laundry room if you only need 1 All I can say is don't come here unless its an emergency more ... hide ...

This place is terrible and should be avoided at all costs The supernatant acts as if youre living there for free when in reality you are paying rent Furthermore the building is extremely old and anything that breaks will result in a screaming tirade from the supernatant Lastly your bedroom window has been locked shut so you cant open it on top of that the k 2022-10-11T13:32:17Z

I lived in this apartment for about six months before I realized that the quality wasnt worth the high price The onsite building superintendent was very attentive and easy to reach so I didnt have any problems in that regard The management company however was horrendous it was impossible to get a hold of them after they had my money When I first saw the unit it looked brand new with newly installed floors and kitchen however on movein day there were urine stains in the bathroom and food splatter all over the appliances while the floors were damaged by paint We couldnt move into an unclean unit so we had to go back to our old place and lose all that money for movers and trucks We asked for compensation but no one replied throughout those six months all they did was replace a few sections of flooring but damage still remained It turned out contractors had been using our unit as their hangout spot which explained why things were so shoddily done cupboards falling off when opened towel racks coming off walls terrible water pressure from shower etc plus they needed access to us every other week which made it unbearable Despite its great location this experience ended up being really bad overall After seeing my comment about them publicly attempting to cover things up instead of actually responding properly I will contact them again with an update on their response afterwards more ... hide ...

The reviews of this property seem oddly negative but from the conversations Ive had with people living here and our own experience when we moved into the South building during construction its been much better than other luxury buildings in Toronto The property managers are competent and respond to problems quickly noise between units is well controlled everything works as intended there are plenty of community events the location is excellent all adding up to a great rental opportunity The downsides are parking issues having to bring recycling down and sort it yourself and no concierge for accepting packages more ... hide ...
