A week ago I tried to post a review on Google for Lot 6 but it wasnt visible to the public I got the same result when I posted it on Ironclad Properties Inc Customer service wouldnt help me figure out why so I wanted people to be aware of what they could experience if they signed a lease here For the first seven weeks we had fire alarms going off at least on 2022-09-19T07:02:18Z
A week ago I tried to post a review on Google for Lot 6 but it wasnt visible to the public I got the same result when I posted it on Ironclad Properties Inc Customer service wouldnt help me figure out why so I wanted people to be aware of what they could experience if they signed a lease here For the first seven weeks we had fire alarms going off at least once weekly one happened after midnight on Boxing Day and another lasted over an hour just ten days ago with no explanation given Then there was a water pipe burst that caused the fire alarms to go off again in the evening of January 26th and still no communication about this ordeal We also noticed our windows werent sealed properly as we could see water spots along the window frame when weather started getting warmermeltier and three of our four smoke detectors needed their batteries replaced in four months time we can easily hear our neighbours too despite buildings soundproofing being laughable Hopefully none else has to go through what we did here while building is still under construction more ... hide ...

If you want to rent in Ottawa I strongly suggest avoiding Homestead buildings Ive personally had an awful experience there and can attest its not a great option Maintenance issues are practically impossible to get fixed by the superintendent and each floor is filled with marijuana smoke Additionally their rent is much higher than what youd expect from what t 2022-10-14T09:32:18Z
If you want to rent in Ottawa I strongly suggest avoiding Homestead buildings Ive personally had an awful experience there and can attest its not a great option Maintenance issues are practically impossible to get fixed by the superintendent and each floor is filled with marijuana smoke Additionally their rent is much higher than what youd expect from what the building offers if you lose your key youll have to pay 60 for a new one Parking isn't great either your car might scrape against the ceiling when entering the indoor lot Lastly swimming pools rarely get maintained properly Therefore if Ottawa is where you need to be and a Homestead building is all thats available my advice is to look elsewhere more ... hide ...

We took a family trip to the auberge for two nights with our two children who were four and seven years old We were far from impressed by its appearance it was evident the place needed some maintenance The toilet was leaky and noise travelled easily between rooms Even when someone in the adjacent room got up to use the bathroom or shower in their ventilator we could hear it as if they were using ours Sleeping was difficult with three rooms next to us Upon arrival there was nobody at reception so we had to search out someone from the laundry room Despite buying a coupon on Tuango that said there would be passeport activits implying lots of activities and people this turned out not to be true there were only 34 kayaks and 23 canoes available all day plus a tiny sand pool for beach volleyball The food however wasnt bad considering how rundown it looked even the resto which resembled a shed had rustic dcor inside it more ... hide ...

We are very content with our living situation The staff here are always friendly and receptive to all our problems regardless of the day Everything is kept in check both on the interior and exterior of the property including pathways cleared during snowfall There is a welcoming atmosphere among neighbors and a sense of safety while exploring the surrounding nature trails Additionally we get plenty of natural lighting through large windows Unfortunately soundproofing against external noises is not available so noise such as wind or distant sirens can seem louder than normal Street parking can be scarce in wintertime without visitor parking being available either and interior features like kitchen cupboards layout being cramped up In addition to that mailboxes lack parcel lockers thus making Canada Post leave pickup notices for you to go at their offices Despite these minor downsides though coming home every day feels worth it more ... hide ...

This building may have its benefits but also has its drawbacks If you need visitor parking tell them to park at Walmart because the residents of this place take complete advantage of the free parking and warnings are not taken seriously You can be sure to find garbage scattered everywhere in the halls by mailboxes dumpsters and pathways so if thats something you enjoy seeing then great Also make sure youre not standing right in front of the elevator when getting off as someone may come out suddenly When it comes to packages sending it directly to post office or workplace may be better as there is no secure package box and Canada Post will not even buzz for delivery The management here is very unreliable ever since Sanil left switching around more than my dad switches girlfriends This makes for a very disappointing experience given how much money one pays for living here more ... hide ...
