We stayed in the building for more than a year while our house was being completed and I would advise any owner to sell while its still good and any renter to stay away The summer heat was unbearable even though we had air conditioning and the winter cold made it just as unpleasant The constant city noise and construction work started at 7 in the morning every single day with jackhammers blaring all through our stay The design of the units was bad bathrooms too small kitchens not suitable for cooking no counter space We experienced problems with parking as well our car got damaged in a high tech garage couldnt access it several times due to maintenance issues waiting around for other people whenever we wanted to take it out In addition walking around this area meant dealing with homeless drug addicts yelling at us or attacking us Vacationers came and went on our floor often so there were always strangers around To sum up one of the worst rental experiences ever more ... hide ...

This review is regarding the Franchere Bay Cabin Rentals which are run by the same people and not about their store During a long weekend stay in Cabin 4 the bigger cabin we found both pros and cons The positive aspects included a dock to tie our boat for the weekend free firewood and a big firepit a jug of water provided on arrival an awesome wraparound deck with an amazing lake view as well as a consistent breeze from it also they gave us a map of the lake However there were some drawbacks such as poor quality coffee pot and tea kettle that took forever to function properly additionally there were 2 pages of rules concerning cleaning etc taped to the dining table without prior disclosure all pots were in bad condition without any suitable spoons or spatula provided shower was dirty upon arrival missing finishing touches like baseboards etc zerotolerance policy for dogs on lawn of Cabin 4 but allowed few feet away at other cabins with no fence blocking them from entering onto lawn too much signage everywhere present indicating what can be done or not insideoutside cabin Furthermore bedding towels hand soap werent provided either Lastly even though they claimed it was sodded there were mostly weeds on its lawn plus people from park visited frequently throughout our stay fishing off docks sitting on its lawn In conclusion due to all these issues we had great memories during our weekend here but wont be returning again since many more ... hide ...
