We used to live in apartment 1560 but we had to move before our first year was up due to the severe cockroach infestation The problem was never resolved and we were constantly dealing with mold smells from other units water shutoffs every two weeks and frequent visits from police The staff were friendly but they could have done more than just make the building look nicer it was full of cockroaches We chose to leave because it wasnt a place we wanted to be in for long Don't rent there just because the rent is cheapits not worth it Now theyre demanding that we pay 300 for damages even though they told us there would be no payment owed when we left twenty days ago these damages are related to living amongst a bunch of dirty bugs which has impacted our health negatively more ... hide ...

No problems here Old Oak has been responsible for the property for around 18 months and theres onsite staff that clean regularly Orkin takes care of any pest issues so everything is pestfree The laundry areas are also properly maintained Last summer the garbage chute was fixed and they even replaced the boiler The team is polite and they take good care of things plus painting outside has been done too its looking great after 20 years Any concerns are always taken care of promptly Therell be further outdoor upgrades in the future as well as newly renovated units with modern appliances if your unit has a balcony itll be nice when warmer weather arrives Though the pool is closed it will eventually be replaced which will be great too Youre near bike paths along with Shoppers grocery stores and other amenities theres even a variety store close by if you need something quickly The neighbours are all pleasant and theres lots of wildlife onsite like birds or squirrelschipmunks for those who like to watch them Old Oak was originally responsible for this property many years ago according to our seniors they took ownership again early 2021 so Im confident were in good hands with their reputation in London Exciting updateschanges are sure to come soon cant wait to see what they have planned more ... hide ...

I lived in York House for almost two years with my dog Josephine and absolutely loved it The management and maintenance team did a great job of keeping the common areas clean removing icesnow from sidewalks swiftly and even repaired my faucet quickly when I needed it They also notify tenants if they need to do something like test the fire alarm or plow the parking lot emails are sent out as well as signs put up in elevators so people arent taken by surprise Everyone who works there is really friendly too A hot tip the views on the East side are great since theres no building blocking them Unfortunately I had to move because my pup was anxious due to all of other dogs living in York House its definitely fun but might not be ideal if your pet gets overwhelmed easily Out of all five apartments Ive lived in this one was definitely my favourite so I highly recommend it more ... hide ...

My husband and I moved in to the apartment six years ago and the service weve received has been extremely poor The previous tenants had not left it in good condition so a lot of repairs were needed However they made a botched job fitting old doors that didnt match together repairing the bathroom door with polyfill and painting over a hole in one of the bedrooms without properly fixing it We were promised new windows for our room but 6 years later still nothing has been done about this Moulds have grown due to water coming through the windows as well as cold air Radiators stopped working until January when someone entered our apartment without authorization and fixed them now even with all thermostats closed its still too hot inside The laminate flooring was cheap so ended up curling from water seepage from the windows too There are loads of exposed electrical wires in basement along with an archaic fuse box which would be a nightmare for electricians or fire fighters to deal with Outside is no better either roads are badly ploweddeglazed while parking lot gets plowed regardless dog owners don't clean up after their pets either We sent photos to manager who promised action on floorwindows but nothing was done were glad to have ended our lease as living here wasnt worth 1 100 per month due to all these unacceptable conditions Don't be like us and make same mistake by just looking at first appearances more ... hide ...

This building just finished 6 months ago is the worst place Ive ever lived Management is awful they take two times the rent and don't return it and completely ignore tenant emails or appointments You wont get free heat nor rentable storage spaces like promised Your bills will be way higher than expected since you have to pay for heat and cant turn it off The storage spaces arent even there They doubleassign underground parking places without any outdoor options No matter how many times you reach out about a problem in your unit no one does anything about it One of our last straws was finding vomit in the elevator for days with management only sending out an email with a photo before cleaning two days later Breakins have also been common since this building opened up Youre always surrounded by construction and multiple roads are blocked due to it too theres also an alarm that randomly goes off at all hours of the night Most windows don't shut tightly anyway and are already cracked but dogs are allowed which was nice plus windows were large and appliancesfixtures were highend that may not work Neighbors were mostly great but thats all this place had going for it don't live here unless you HAVE to more ... hide ...
