Living in The Maples Apartments was a great experience for me As a young woman the 24hr onsite security was especially reassuring It was conveniently close to amenities without needing a car and having access to laundry facilities onsite were all positives too I really enjoyed my stay here as it was clean roomy wellmanaged and economical I would highly sugge 2022-10-11T04:32:17Z

Its essential to stay away from this apartment complex The services provided here are terrible since we moved in weve had many issues and only a few have been settled after multiple complaints On December 25th the heat had been out for two weeks due to maintenance problems that may take weeks more to be fixed as the management has no clue when it will be taken care of We have felt cold and have lacked heat and hot water for days which has caused us colds Moreover the elevator hasnt functioned for three days already with no updates or messages from the administration office regarding these issues It seems as if one person is dealing with all of the buildings problems they seem nice but are likely overwhelmed by all thats going on We also contacted Cogir yet havent heard back from them yet Heat is an absolute necessity at this time of year so not taking care of it quickly is just foolish If youre searching for an apartment in Ottawa keep looking youll most likely find a better place either at same price or even lower than here avoid this place at all costs more ... hide ...

I lived with my ex for two years in 2017 and 2018 During that time the building had three sets of married superintendents followed by a single woman and her manager Howard The elevator often broke down and hot water got shut off frequently In the first summer we didnt have to pay an air conditioning fee but then the new managers tried to make us get one we refused For five months our balcony barrier was broken and our neighbors trespassed onto our side of it Also there wasnt a lock on our balcony door so it was unsafe A part had to be ordered from somewhere which took forever An employee came in drunk one day and destroyed an elevator control panel some vacant units he worked on before he got fired after having a mental breakdown at 4am on our floor he also went into our unit once when nothing was missing yetwe complained about this but were told its impossible From then on we wouldnt let anyone inside unless we were present The female superintendent was always rude so I approached Howard instead when I wanted something done When I left my ex due to domestic violence issues Howard assisted me in getting out of my lease quickly so I could move away from him ASAP Overall rent was good apartments are large bright herehopefully they have better management now as Caldwell is close by its peaceful nice here with an offleash dog park nearby plus WalmartLoblaws more ... hide ...

Do NOT rent from this place I moved here in 2019 and was immediately subjected to harassment by a neighbor yet my complaints to the landlord were ignored This week I have been without hot water unannounced and the temperature in my apartment is 167 degrees Celsius which is below the legal limit of 20 degrees for landlords to provide during 600am11pm In addition there are drug deals occurring on the main floor with people constantly coming and going through a propped open back door or window without its screen The leasing office responds occasionally since thats where money comes from however voicemails are not returned for other matters such as heat at 167 degrees which should be at 20 according to Ottawa regulations Contacting anyone else has proven fruitless thus far I have received no call backs after leaving three voicemails this week about heat alone it has been almost a week now Even calling the emergency line yesterday resulted in no change or response whatsoever Similarly calling them tonight didnt reach anyone higher up such as a manager who could hear complaints either instead it just connected me back to the emergency line again Its appalling considering Im writing this bundled up in multiple blankets due to cold weather while I shouldnt have had pay hydro bills just so that my apartment can be heated Therefore DO NOT rent from here nor any Hazelview properties previously Timbercreek Considering all that has happened with harassing neighbors and poor customer service by more ... hide ...

My spouse and I had the great fortune of only recently moving into The Richlin which I could not be more pleased with for my first apartment One of my friends who had lived there previously suggested it to me The building is spotless and wellmaintained and all the personnel have been very friendly both office staff and maintenance personnel are incredibly helpful and kind Our queries have always been attended to quickly plus any minor repair requests weve made were taken care of that same day As far as rent goes rates here are definitely reasonable when judged against those in neighboring buildings moreover our place is a lot bigger than some others we checked out before deciding on this one Theres also a sizable laundry room in addition to a gymnasium and swimming pool but what really puts it over the top for us is how peaceful it is here in four months living at Richlin Apartments we havent heard ONE peep from our neighbors We therefore highly recommend this place more ... hide ...

I recently moved into Phase 2 of Loop by Claridge and have had a great experience Amanda the Property Manager was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the process She showed me multiple units so I could find one that best suited my needs The building itself is stunning with concrete exposed hallways modern fixtures beautiful unit styles and located in the heart of Downtown Its close to all amenities like Farm Boy Rexall and Circle K which was a selling point for me As well as this theres an indoor pool and rooftop which I look forward to using daily for some RRAlthough Amanda does get busy from time to time it didnt take her long to respond back she explained everything clearly when it came to completing the application too as its all done through an online site portal which tracks everything such as your lease information payment history etcIve read reviews about her service before moving in but after experiencing it myself I can honestly say theyre positive and Im usually very particular After moving in Im even happier because my unit is lovely with nice finishes such as a kitchen countertops backsplash plus large windows offering city views at night what more could you want The move in process was so simple compared to other companies processes which made me appreciate Claridge even more Lastly Jeff the Property Manager goes above beyond when helping tenants out while Amanda has been nothing but kind during more ... hide ...
