My landlord at College Hill Apartments Robert recently had an issue with me not adhering to the lease agreement although I was never handed a copy We had a bad experience instead of calling me courteously he assumed I was in the wrong and spoke to me harshly over the phone He even accused me of being negligent and arrogant All I did was switch off power at m 2022-10-12T12:02:18Z
My landlord at College Hill Apartments Robert recently had an issue with me not adhering to the lease agreement although I was never handed a copy We had a bad experience instead of calling me courteously he assumed I was in the wrong and spoke to me harshly over the phone He even accused me of being negligent and arrogant All I did was switch off power at my unit with permission from all my roommates since no one was living there He would not listen to what I had to say instead he tried teaching me a lesson on renting apartments by threatening that my credit score would be affected through eviction if I didnt turn the power back ondespite having paid rent always His conduct toward me today on the call is unprofessional in my view as a 23yearold student who has resided at College Hill for four years without any prior warnings or complaints from him plus I have allowed him to display my apartment for future tenants numerous times and kept it clean This is not how someone like myself should be treated My prior landlord Joey Cleven handled everyone equitably during my stay here and maintained courtesy throughout our relationship more ... hide ...

This building is perfect for those who love to wait for an elevator The design shows that it was meant to fit more apartments in as there are only two elevators Moreover there is no service elevator so when someone moves which seems to be quite often one of the two elevators becomes unavailable leaving just one elevator for the 21 floors of people On a less 2022-10-12T13:02:19Z

My spouse and I lived in this building for two years Although it was not terrible in many respects there were issues like bugs Lets begin with the positives the Superintendent is friendly and helpful as much as they can be given the buildings management problems Also the units are quite spacious On the flip side there are plenty of negatives like poor property management by a large company which slows down responses to concerns and does not put effort into resolving them bugs due to something in construction that cannot be gotten rid of slow repair times for appliances broken elements like only two elevators for six floors and money trouble with security deposits not being returned within 10 days or even acknowledged after one month since move out As seen from the photo GWL took weeks to fix an electrical short in a microwave which could have caused a fire With so many new buildings going up all over Halifax and Bedford why would someone choose this one more ... hide ...

Ive been living in Spring Garden Terrace for two months now and this is my first experience having my own apartment The leasing agent Haley I think was her name was very helpful in setting up a viewing and answering any questions I had about the building or leasing process The response time to my one maintenance request by Martin was great within an hour I think the pricing for this neighbourhood is fair 1100 utilities for a studio isn't bad plus units and building are nicely updated No pests have made it here so far which as a firsttime downtown resident is reassuring Garbage disposal is easy and common areas are clean Pool and outdoor green spaces are nice touches too My only complaints are that noise from construction can begin at 9am which can be an issue if you work late hours like me sometimes after midnight Also theres occasionally cigarette smoke coming from the apartment across the hall because someone doesnt take their cigarettes outside Despite these two minor annoyances Spring Garden Terrace has been overall a very desirable place to live EDIT Having lived here for 6 months take into consideration that there are some unfriendly tenants who will get upset if you have music playing at 930pm on Saturdays more ... hide ...
