I sent multiple emails in response to the one they provided and still received no response The apartment had many problems such as the FOB keys not working on any of the buildings doors no Covid19 safety measures in place except for closing amenities and people entering and leaving without masks who would throw large parties late into the night with loud music Additionally those living there show disrespect for their neighbors by littering and leaving garbage in elevators To make matters worse management has been unresponsive to my inquiries about renewing my lease when they finally did reply it was just to ask for rent payment which was previously waived for two months then they increased that amount due to an alleged error Im shocked at this experience especially considering how expensive these apartments are more ... hide ...

I had lived in my previous apartment for four years but wanted to leave earlier however the pandemic postponed my plans I wrote this review some months ago during the major construction project and adjusted it as I observed new details and issues being solved Its a joke that management is asking people to personally address their gripes since Ive sent multiple emails in the past about different things all of which were met with complete silence and no changes Examples include alwaysbreaking elevators even after renovations that took an entire year continual construction noises in many areas for two years without prior warning refurbishing of flooringwallslaundry room set up instead of safety upgrades requested by tenants eg broken lights spots slippery chipped steps Hot water or all water being cut at least once a month for hours up to one day is yet another issue Theres only one package locker for Canada Post while other couriers leave packages on lobby floor causing thefts as well as a frequent roach problem Communication with them is also impossible nonurgent help line doesnt work most emails go ignored feedbackcomplaints not taken into consideration unless publicly called out like here when replying to reviews they cite construction was necessary due to safety but last year they happily remodeled instead of upgrading safety features if you want immediate response you need physically visit office which isn't feasible if have 95 job since they are only more ... hide ...

Don't spend your money on this place It may look good from the outside but the customer service is horrible The property manager and staff don't care about complaints and are incapable of providing solutions Parking stalls cost 60month which isn't enough to cover snow removal and the suites are made of lowcost materials so youd have to call maintenance at least once a week but they wont respond or repair anything During move out theyll charge wearandtear to your deposit which is illegal according to Alberta tenancy board regulations The manager Bhayan I urge you not meet her shes a power tripper whos incredibly rude is always abrasive and has been targeted by tons of complaints yet management does nothing about it But Branka and Denise handle everything well with their excellent service since I moved in here They offer fair resolutions while being professional and respectful unlike Bhayan mentioned above Also when you move out they wont give back your deposit even if you followed all rules and returned it in the same condition you first rented it no list or explanation why not either To sum up Broadstreet Properties is not worth what youre paying for poor customer service from top down avoid lots of hassle don't rent here more ... hide ...

The apartments in the building are lovely however don't count on regular upkeep of common areas or the grounds surrounding it Nothing has been addressed this year and there is overgrowth everywhere The lobby is usually in disarray and amenities like their package delivery box system that are advertised as a bonus to living there do not operate properly Packages get left out in the hallway or lobby available for anyone to take The area may be nice but I am disappointed in how they maintain the buildingits embarrassing to invite anyone over due to its appearance On July 8th they finally employed a crew to spruce up the grounds outside of the building nevertheless it remains unclear if maintenance will be sustained People pay for a neat and secure residence which includes its exterior August 18th saw me post an anonymous review due to apprehension that my reviews would be held against meunfortunately calls and emails go unanswered when trying all available numbers on Asperas site plus their voicemail is full too There have been some car breakins at the parking lot so there appears to be continual issues here now A sign was even put near garbage bins telling people where it belongs as some tenants have been irresponsible with waste disposalpet owners should think twice before getting one if they cant clean up after them Hopefully extra charges will apply for those who don't adhere by this rule more ... hide ...
