I had an unbelievable experience at Sonder Montrals downtown property The apartment I stayed in was spacious and gorgeous with exposed concrete ceilings and a wraparound balcony with a beautiful view Checking in was easy and the location is ideal by Guy Concordia station They even arranged for me to be placed on a higher floor upon request It was the most wellequipped place Ive ever visited it had all the supplies necessary for cleaning laundry and cooking The bedding was very comfortable as well as the furniture that made it feel like an upscale condo instead of a rental or hotel unit For extra convenience theres an app you can download for instructions on checkin as well as building information and access to chat assistance 247 from a concierge in the lobby The only downside is that since its such a new building the gymsauna isn't open yet but this fact was disclosed when I booked my stay Sonder really thought of everything so that my time there could be stressfree Id definitely go back more ... hide ...

The building is fairly new and wellrun with a 24hour concierge service that ensures safety is a top priority Despite occasional interruptions from the elevator and fire alarm it appears to be improving Smoking is not allowed on the balcony and must be done several feet away from the building which I appreciate since I am a nonsmoker The staff managers and superintendents are very helpful when something needs to be fixed for example my bathroom mirror was replaced after two months Though this took some time to complete they did an excellent job The location is great near the subway station with walking distance to Junction and Bloor West Village Roncesvalles village is slightly farther away Beautiful grounds combined with friendly and considerate residents make this an ideal place to live in The staff keep everything immaculate while Snow was especially helpful during my movein process Contance was also very efficient in helping me get settled quickly definitely worth recommending more ... hide ...

If you are looking for a local experience I would recommend this place Although my stay here was not perfect it was still good in general and management handled any issues that arose properly I stayed in one of the studio rooms on the first floor for eight nights at the end of August and beginning of September while working remotely The location is great situated between Drolet and Mount Royal with a threeminute walk to the Metro station There are plenty of restaurants and shops on Mount Royal Saint Denis or Saint Laurent which can be reached with a short walk Reaching Central Station from here is quite simple as well only one metro ride away line 2 There are also some supermarkets nearby offering organic options with some effort put forth Since there are bars located close by on Mount Royal Street noise from people parking can be heard if your window is open however Sonder provides white noise machines for those who need them upon request During my stay I had no trouble connecting to WiFi which allowed me to do video calls without any issue Before checking in though I did not receive checkin instructions three days beforehand due to an incorrect name but they were able to resolve it quickly once contacted about it so make sure you get those instructions prior to your arrival date just in case something similar happens again If you sleep easily disturbed by noise ask ahead of time for one of the white noise machines mentioned earlier when booking your room as that could help you out significantly during your more ... hide ...

I have lived in this building for three years and the previous management FDL used to get things done However since they have taken over there have been many issues the worst of all being that they do not care about anything I had an issue with a credit which took six months to resolve and there were repairs needed in my unit which took four months but never got done They even put up a notice on the outside stating it would be taken care of by the end of the year yet it still hasnt been completed There are many people working for them who are all incompetent and their customer service is abysmal yet they were rated as one of Canadas Top 100 Employers Keys were left unsupervised on counters so people could just take them away at least Tadousac The maintenance staff make comments but then don't finish their jobs with excuses every single time you go see them resulting in new tickets being made and nothing gets resolved The rent is high considering they offer no customer service whatsoever In short they are terrible at whatever they do when they say Ill call you be sure that it wont happen No one takes responsibility for mistakes nor follows up when promised calls and visits lead nowhere but frustration If something does not work here expect a long process ahead before you can get any little thing fixed I even waited two months for my mailbox key with their solution being you can wait for the mailman more ... hide ...

The apartment I have lived in twice throughout my life was grand when I was a young boy and my father resided there There were never any complaints from him as the staff was polite and diligently took care of any issues that arose However since York Holding has taken over it is clear that they have failed to maintain the premises Garbage is thrown into trees behind the building including an AC unit walls are covered in graffiti and unrecognizable substances coat stairwells Electrical and maintenance problems arise frequently and even lights or fire extinguishers may be missing or misplaced Even worse they refuse to fix anything within the units after a year and a half of persistent reminders regarding flooring issues along with kitchen problems they still failed to take action Therefore do not be fooled by their promises as this place will just take your money without taking responsibilityopt for Marina Place or Riviera instead more ... hide ...
