This review is from someone who has lived in building 143 Eighth street for over a year For privacy reasons their name wont be revealed The exterior of the building isn't attractive and yard maintenance is rare the garden display hasnt been worked on in ages and grass cutting is infrequent with trimmings left behind The interior is outdated with old stairs entrance door entrance doors to floors and hallway carpeting that need upgrade they have just been painted over The units have new appliances such as fridge stove toilet and tub when you move in which gets a 1010 rating however walls are worn out with many imperfections like cracks pealing heaters etc Cockroaches were also seen soon after moving in but this was managed by getting someone to caulk along all baseboards at an expense of nearly 400 this coupled with regular spraying has kept cockroaches away since then which can also be attributed to keeping the unit clean Its recommended to hire someone for caulking and covers for electric sockets while making sure sinks and bathtub are covered after use to prevent pests This place could be great due to its location but needs extensive renovation both inside and out as well as pest management control if you can spend more elsewhere then do it otherwise this place would suffice at 410 more ... hide ...

My wife and I moved into the Stonebridge Apartments A Block in Saskatoon on August 22 2016 We were promised that the carpets would be cleaned but they werent when we arrived After a week and moving our furniture out of the way they were finally cleaned Less than a month later we received a letter informing us that chemicals had to be applied to get rid of cockroaches We were told to empty closets and cupboards move all furniture two feet away from walls and find an alternate location for our pet cat or face fines Boardwalk was supposed to come exterminate them but decided it wasnt necessary after all they sent us an apology letter with 25 Tim Hortons gift card as compensation for packingunpacking twice insteadFrom midDecember 2016 until late February 2017 there were continuous hot water issues where only lukewarm water could be used for doing dishes and laundry or taking showers so my wife and I resorted to showering at the gym instead I called their 1800 number multiple times asking for an explanation on how this problem would be fixed but no response ever came back maintenance people did come speak with us though but said nothing could be done since it was an old building There have been several appliance issues too AC needing replacement shortly after moving in plus only three of four stove burners working fridge too small to fit anything more than condiments and Tupperware containers while dry more ... hide ...

We had the great luck of finding OBASA Six Three Suites We had to move to Regina for medical treatment and stayed at the Hamilton for a bit over half a year We rented out one of their twobedroom apartments and it was perfect stylishly decorated but still with plenty of space The windows provided us with an attractive view of the city skyline Its location was 2022-10-09T05:02:19Z
We had the great luck of finding OBASA Six Three Suites We had to move to Regina for medical treatment and stayed at the Hamilton for a bit over half a year We rented out one of their twobedroom apartments and it was perfect stylishly decorated but still with plenty of space The windows provided us with an attractive view of the city skyline Its location was ideal too there were many restaurants banks and stores nearby as well as indoor parking and secure building features that were extremely beneficial A special thank you goes out to Jagjyot Singh who handled all our questions or issues quickly with professionalism and kindness that gave us even more peace of mind during our stay We strongly recommend OBASA Six Three Suites you wont regret it more ... hide ...

I lived in this revolting building and it was a tremendous mistake Cockroaches and bedbugs were rampant on the second floor I had to discard loads of furniture due to the cockroaches The hallways were covered in black mold however rather than addressing the issue they just painted over it The building reeked of cigarettes and mold while rainwater leaked from 2022-10-24T17:02:19Z
I lived in this revolting building and it was a tremendous mistake Cockroaches and bedbugs were rampant on the second floor I had to discard loads of furniture due to the cockroaches The hallways were covered in black mold however rather than addressing the issue they just painted over it The building reeked of cigarettes and mold while rainwater leaked from the ceilings Avoid Avenue living at all costs as their management is unprofessional and there have been ongoing issues since day one After seven months I had enough I complained about the cockroaches more than once but all that was done was putting bait down in my unit which did nothing to help matters they were still everywhere until I moved out more ... hide ...

The units are roomy and petfriendly however the management isn't frequently in the office and can be hard to get a hold of You may hear your neighbours but its not overly loud The 2star rating is due to the fact that 247 oncall is based out of British Columbia leaving them unable to assist you with anything other than sending emails onsite management only comes by during business hours a few days a week theres only one elevator for an entire 4 floor complex and parking costs 60month which isn't even guaranteed there have been many untagged vehicles illegally parked in paid stalls and no one available to address this issue I personally had 5 unauthorized vehicles in my spot within the month Ive lived here all reported but nothing anyone could do besides jot down information from each car If having your own paid stall matters to you then this place might not be for you more ... hide ...
