I'm very satisfied with my apartment; it's roomy and there is plenty of storage space. I was pleasantly surprised to find mailboxes and a Canada Post secure parcel box indoors. The area is superb, with a mall, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, theater, liquor store, hardware store and community gardens all within reach on a walking/biking path. There are also bike racks set up outside which is great. On the ground floor there's an amenity lounge that's open daily for residents and can be booked for private events. The management and maintenance personnel have been fantastic; they've addressed any issues or queries I had swiftly in a civil manner. As others have said before me the suites don't offer much soundproofing but I think of that as only a minor issue - if noise bothers you too much just get yourself some earplugs! Most of my neighbors so far have been delightful and it's nice to see so many kids and dogs living here as well!

I'm not having a great experience living here in Broadstreet, Winnipeg. It was much quieter there than it is now - no kids screaming in the hallway or dogs barking all day and night. People park wherever they want without paying for it, which is an issue for me as I do pay for my spot. The air conditioner is loud too; plus why two bathtubs when a walk-in shower would make life easier? They're also very high and not senior-friendly. Come spring, I'll be looking for a place more conducive to peace and quiet - maintenance here isn't the best either though the new manager is much better than the last one who was never available.

The units are roomy and pet-friendly; however, the management isn't frequently in the office and can be hard to get a hold of. You may hear your neighbours, but it's not overly loud. The 2-star rating is due to the fact that 24/7 on-call is based out of British Columbia, leaving them unable to assist you with anything other than sending emails; on-site management only comes by during business hours a few days a week; there's only one elevator for an entire 4 floor complex; and parking costs $60/month which isn't even guaranteed - there have been many untagged vehicles illegally parked in paid stalls and no one available to address this issue. I personally had 5 unauthorized vehicles in my spot within the month I've lived here - all reported but nothing anyone could do besides jot down information from each car. If having your own paid stall matters to you, then this place might not be for you.
