This building is not the luxury units it was advertised as The amenities and service are lackluster It appears that entire lowincome families are living in the studios due to their cheapness though this is questionable from a legal standpoint This building more closely resembles a cooperative housing than an apartment complex managed professionally Additionally smokers run rampant here and there is constant construction going on which causes noise disturbances every day of the week Nails and other debris are also everywhere in the parking lot poorly insulated units can make it very loud too when tenants hold parties The building itself is from the 60s so there are plenty of issues with plumbing that lead to water shutoffs Elevators are often out of order as well and theres only two laundry machines for everybody which breaks down for weeks or months at a time As another reviewer stated this place is overpriced rat cages run by an incompetent company who offers yearly draws if you give them a good review likely why they have such positive reviews online Osgoode Property Management has turned this into more of a workspace than residential complex an absolute scam more ... hide ...

We had high hopes when we were shown the new unit as promised renovations would be made But the girl living there was a mess and the place reeked of urine Management assured us of a discount since it wasnt move in ready and said theyd fix doors windows change out laminate flooring and supply a new stove None of this happened When we asked for the discount they initially agreed to they changed their story and accused us of lyingeven though we had nothing in writing The broken windows still havent been fixed instead they just replaced the glass but two days later it fell next to my boyfriend while he was sleeping Shards of glass are still stuck in our mattress and on our feet that Im having to pluck out with tweezers Instead of a new stove management gave us one from another unit that needed wiping down two months on and no sign yet of what was promised The maintenance man entered without notice or warning while I was asleep half dressed I might add When we contacted property managers about not giving 24 hours written notice as required by law head office sided with them saying that me saying I was available any time during day should have been enoughbut theres proof otherwise via text messages too This morning I slipped almost falling due to leaking sink pipes with a big puddle underneath it too We have been good tenants here at Killam whove never paid rent late nor more ... hide ...

Pleasant Cove was a great place for our family for many years However the prices rose to 4600 for an offseason week which is quite expensive We looked around at private cottages and found one bigger than Pleasant Coves at half the price its style was completely private and not resortstyle with people everywhere Upon further review of private cottages versus 2022-10-13T03:32:18Z
Pleasant Cove was a great place for our family for many years However the prices rose to 4600 for an offseason week which is quite expensive We looked around at private cottages and found one bigger than Pleasant Coves at half the price its style was completely private and not resortstyle with people everywhere Upon further review of private cottages versus Pleasant Cove we noticed that fast internet full satellite TV channels plentiful wood near the firepit ample parking next to the cottage dockside shore power with generators on standby in case of power outages as well as free laundry facilities were all included in the lower price Ultimately it comes down to cost half that of what we expected from a cottage rental in Pointe au Baril since most visitors come just to eat sleep and fish at this time of year The staff at Pleasant Cove are fantastic but due to winter season closures we couldnt access amenities such hot tubs or stocked wood sheds more ... hide ...

It wasnt a bad experience living in 5 Green for three years the bedrooms were large and bright albeit with a small bathroom but plenty of storage The kitchen and living room were both sizeable as well as the balcony Staff werent terrible either mice are an issue all over Halifax Regional Municipality not just there and even some ant issues occurred All in al 2022-10-13T04:02:20Z
