Living in this building is not easy A hidden sign at Apartment 280 and an unwalkable access at the entrance presents difficulty for drivers Plus the two nice patios at the end of the higher level are not accessible though some have a lovely walkout with their own flowers and lawn For me who uses a specialized wheelchair I was promised an accessible apartment 2022-11-01T14:32:17Z
Living in this building is not easy A hidden sign at Apartment 280 and an unwalkable access at the entrance presents difficulty for drivers Plus the two nice patios at the end of the higher level are not accessible though some have a lovely walkout with their own flowers and lawn For me who uses a specialized wheelchair I was promised an accessible apartment but it is anything but I am stuck in a hospital bedroom and no one can hear me promises to adapt all taps were made but with such bad water pressure my hair is brittle after using it and our clothes are becoming ruined It looks like dirty rust instead of drinkable water Ill never be able to get into kitchen or toilets as bars need to be installed and walls knocked down just so that I can reach the fridge Despite this hardship people living here seem nice as do the workers thank you more ... hide ...

Ive been living at 111 Market Street for two years now and I think some of the reviews about it are unfair The property has workers there almost every other day to fix things that the supers cant handle If you report an issue it will usually be resolved within 48 hours unless they need to call in a specialist like happened with my apartment which is explaine 2022-09-22T02:02:18Z
Ive been living at 111 Market Street for two years now and I think some of the reviews about it are unfair The property has workers there almost every other day to fix things that the supers cant handle If you report an issue it will usually be resolved within 48 hours unless they need to call in a specialist like happened with my apartment which is explained in the lease They even had pest control come last year just for preventive measures though I havent seen any bugs myself Im very cleanThe gym is always nice and clean when I use it twice a week as well There was an issue with the WiFi earlier this year but that got taken care of in a week During wintertime there were some problems with the elevators but those have since been fixed plus theyre being replaced this year according to the posted noticeWhen doing laundry Ive spoken to some people who said similar things as me that the building has never been as nice as it is now during their 15 years living here so clearly they have good reason for not moving out yet Managements great too last summer they had someone host a BBQ and booked a restaurant down the street for Christmas festivities All in all people should be more honest about why their experience was so bad because mine has been absolutely wonderful and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon more ... hide ...

Ive lived here for five years and this place has a special place in my heart with many memories Its petfriendly with a forest full of rivers and trails right in the backyard There can be noise due to students living there however I just left and the condition of the property has been rapidly declining over the last two to twoandahalf years Garbage is always an issue parking is still a problem nonresidents using the lot and now there are babiestoddlers on site with their young parents There have also been police cars often present and nonstudents seem to be taking up most of the residence they had switched property managers twice in one week This place has become an absolute disaster it was time for me to leave The company appears to be in crisis mode right now My overall experience was great 55 but I must rate safety at 15 for future residents as its not safe anymore you should look into who your roommates are Facebook etc especially if theyre not students as some could be middle aged or older My first three years were spent living beside friends however my final two were less than ideal because of domestic violence from another couple plus nonfatal overdoses onsite people were arrested too while apartment units were trashed so yeah not really safe overall anymore Despite that though my time here was memorable nonetheless more ... hide ...

In the past this place and its personnel were accommodating and respected students privacy Because of this I have recommended it to people I know who wanted to attend UOIT or Durham College The remarks from them about the management were always positive However after renovations at the entrance of the building the atmosphere changed drastically The staff became twofaced and passiveaggressive any help requested was a way for them to exploit money from tenants The parking is managed by another firm that takes advantage of financially precarious pupils They also enter rented rooms without authorization or when occupants are not there disregarding Ontario landlord and tenant regulations using fire safety inspections as an excuse for their actions For example Emily took pictures of possessions then prohibited textbooks or course notes stored in boxes she surveyed personal items in bedrooms to decide what could remain there while forbidding winter clothing during summertime she judged beds based on her preferences and banned any storage containers in bedrooms regardless of how orderly they were kept by tenants needing somewhere to keep expensivesentimental belongings due to living far away from home without expressing empathy Her demands made me think foreign students would be undesirable unless wealthy enough to fulfil her conditionslikesdislikesAs more good students leave because they cant endure such treatment the building has started allowing smokers inside although marijuana is legalised now which results in cigarettemarijuana scent pervading hallways all day long and people who more ... hide ...
