My parents have been living in an apartment that I rented for them in this building for a few months and they are extremely content The neighbors are friendly and show respect to each other Services provided by the building are also great Rudy is a fantastic worker who is reachable even on weekends and responds quickly when I contact him about my parents apartment He is considerate obliging and always there for them whenever they need help In addition replacing broken appliances is done rapidly not long ago their dishwasher was malfunctioning but Rudy changed its filters and repaired it within one day Even though they were still not satisfied with their aged dishwasher due to its inefficiency at cleaning dishes we asked for a new one which was installed within a week of our request This building has many benefits including being clean tranquil near to a large plaza within walking distance as well as having exceptional management while also having reasonable rent prices more ... hide ...

Living here was an unpleasant experience and Im extremely glad to have moved out this year Here are some of the issues I encountered 1 The leasing agent never responded to emails getting mad when I called for followups This should have been a warning sign that communication wasnt going to get better 2 On a Friday night the electronic lock on my apartment door stopped working when asking staff for help they said Im at my cottage what do you want me to do about it It turns out there was an actual physical key that the landlord neglected to tell me about They blamed me for this inconvenience 3 For six weeks I had no access to my mailbox Cogir didnt do anything after being asked and Canada Post said it was their responsibility yet nothing changed until legal action was considered 4 When moving in items from a previous tenant were still in the unit5 The dog living above would often urinate on their balcony which then dripped down onto mine6 Cigarette butts were regularly left on my balcony while marijuana smoking anywhere near the property wasnt tolerated7 During the pandemic peak there were lots of shortterm tenants who wouldnt wear masks8 Vehicles would frequently park in our assigned spots9 People drove like crazy through the parking garage too10 We received threats of having our car towed if we didnt move it during cleaning times more ... hide ...

On September 17th we signed our lease with Agora and planned to move in However no one contacted us to provide information on keys pick up datetimelocation We were unable to get the key fob since no one was there to give it The room was dirty with hair lint all over the washerdryer and two cans of beer still in fridge oil splashes were everywhere on the counters floor was also dusty and sticky We emailed JUNIC right away but received no reply until Monday when Edith Lariviere director of building management said that cleaning had been done that morning My girlfriend came by at 8 PM with our cat thinking it would be ready for move in after cleaning only to find out the lint filter hadnt been changed for weeks of use She cleaned a bit before leaving at 10 PM taking pictures which showed only the two cans of beer had been removed from fridge as part of cleaning process According to Edith later via email exchange her manager had come into apartment without consent on Monday and seen cat which supposedly signaled we were moving in already even though we werent scheduled to arrive till noon next day Tuesday My girlfriend however arrived 510 minutes late due to traffic and found no one there when she got there so she fed cat before calling me about situation then finally building manager showed up claiming suite ready for move in citing presence of cat as basis for already being moved in although this wasnt more ... hide ...

I have to express that many of these ratings are not accurate Mainly people only post reviews if theyve had bad experiences so it would be smart to consider the amount of individuals who have had a tremendous experience at Le Faubourg de Lille In particular Johanne the building manager and the management team were beyond impressive in how they treat tenants 2022-11-07T01:02:19Z
I have to express that many of these ratings are not accurate Mainly people only post reviews if theyve had bad experiences so it would be smart to consider the amount of individuals who have had a tremendous experience at Le Faubourg de Lille In particular Johanne the building manager and the management team were beyond impressive in how they treat tenants and handle the building They were very understanding when I was late on rent and I havent witnessed a single roach in 3 years due to their proactive attitude towards making improvements eg patios Postpandemic I highly suggest having a look at the apartments for yourself because this is an incredible place to stay much more affordable than downtown Ottawa but just a 20 minute stroll away from Parliament Hill more ... hide ...
