Ive been living in my suite for a few months now and Im very content When I first viewed it it was being renovated so I wasnt sure what to expect However the staff were much more courteous than anywhere else I had visited before Plus being two blocks away from work and close to various stores and parks was an added benefit Leanne allowed me to come back a few times during the renovations which made me more confident in my decision Once finished with the renovations I could tell that everything had been completed with care as someone who grew up with a carpenter father this was important to me One minor issue occurred when I moved in but they took care of it right away since then there have been no other problems The movein incentives were also great free month of rent plus half deposit for certain professionals and cheaper parking than most downtown locations plus street parking for guests across the street To top it off this location is tucked away nicely yet still close to everything there has not been any noisy or rowdy people here either which was something that worried me due to working odd hours and needing rest during the day Big shout out to Leanne Nancy Jervis The amount of space inside is used efficiently despite its size full sized fridge dishwasher included more ... hide ...

Claire Estates is a great place to consider if youre looking for somewhere to live Im giving it five stars since there are no issues that would make me take any away Its a peaceful building which could be viewed as good or bad depending on your perspective however this is the same for most places in our highly secluded society The location is terrific Ive been living here for several years and couldnt imagine going elsewhere You can get downtown with a short walk and the train station is just one block away unfortunately grocery shopping isn't as convenient unless you have access to a car because the nearest store SaveonFoods requires taking the train Before COVID19 I would often go food shopping elsewhere and use the train ride as exercise Cleanliness and maintenance are both fantastic never had problems with bugs or rodents and areashallways are kept clean regularly plus theyre quick to respond when repairs are needed heating works great too Rent isn't pricey either which was part of why Ive stayed here so long utilities also appear to be included in your payment which can help too Lastly laundry used to be really inexpensive but now its more standardly priced more ... hide ...

Boardwalk owns some really nice buildings but Lindas management at the one I moved into was horrible I had already paid for everything yet she didnt tell me when I could get my keys or arrange a movein date When I tried to contact her she wouldnt respond so in the end I just went there to get them She was totally disorganized and didnt even know if my suite 2022-09-20T03:38:53Z
Boardwalk owns some really nice buildings but Lindas management at the one I moved into was horrible I had already paid for everything yet she didnt tell me when I could get my keys or arrange a movein date When I tried to contact her she wouldnt respond so in the end I just went there to get them She was totally disorganized and didnt even know if my suite had been cleaned fortunately the cleaning lady knew it was ready on February 1st The maintenance man was complaining about having to do repairs on whatever unit he assigned him that morning Linda gave me the movein inspection papers and said shed come back later to finalize them however after waiting hours for her I left to start moving in my stuff and told her then that the blinds and window screen were missing from the living room window Im on the fourth floor so this is a hazard She said they would have to order new parts which might take some time Upon trying to follow up with her a couple weeks later she said she didnt even know when theyd arrive since there wasnt any maintenance person around though I saw him leaving his office earlier On top of all this confusion about my apartment Linda also assigned me parking stall 218 which took forever for me to find since all that were numbered higher than 214 when questioned about it all she replied with its closer our side without offering any help more ... hide ...

Ill address some of the comments Ive seen about this place We stayed in a unit on the 16th floor from June to December 2016 just as they were starting construction It was really annoying to be woken up by drilling 7 days a week and having to keep windows closed all summer Although it was necessary work bricks were actually falling off the side of the building it was great when it finally stopped To those complaining about how management handled questions if you had hundreds of people asking you when drilling would stop each day your responses would be short too so I don't think Cathy or Charlene should get blamed for thatNegatives1 Garbage chute is small and cant fit a regular bag have to take them down to P1 manually unless you don't have access 2 During winter ice accumulates quickly on ramp to P2 before snow removal comes 3 Instances of theft while we lived there mailboxes and woman mugged in lobby area 4 Elevators are slow and not in sync once waited 15 minutes from 16th floor Good points 1 Management is great paid on time never had issues other than with parking garage Cathy offered move to P1 garage 2 Maintenance requests done samenext day 3 Suites were huge with plenty of space for 3 people 4 No AC more ... hide ...

Having been a resident of Solano House for nearly two decades I can vouch that the landlord is always making improvements to the building Recently I asked maintenance to fix my bathroom fan and was pleased by his friendliness and professionalism Not only did he repair it but we had an enjoyable conversation as well Brittany in the leasing office is very understanding when it comes to financial matters due to the pandemic shes also incredibly personable and easy to talk with My suite has seen several upgrades since I moved inlike when I needed a new seal for my fridge they gave me a brand new one that still had that fresh smell Requesting a double sink for my kitchen was also approvedthey even bought it Asking if I could get some paint from maintenance yesterday so I could touch up dings on wall corners and refresh the bathroom resulted in him suggesting that I speak with the office personally though painting is something at which Im quite adept The building offers many amenities such as an updated fitness room and convenience store on its main floor The new washers and gas dryers are especially handy too Similarly mailboxes have also been recently upgraded along with various security features installed throughout However one issue arose recently you couldnt hear fire alarms within suites as theyre very soundproof around 90 After alerting them of this problem they conducted several bell tests verifying my complaint before replacing old fire alarms with newer versions more ... hide ...
