At Secord House, I had a great experience. The suite just got redone when we moved in with an incredible kitchen, and the view of Muttart Pyramids was private. Although it could be noisy on 105 Street during summertime, the downtown location made up for that. It was also a pet-friendly building transitioning to non-smoking and all needs were taken care of right away. Leanne, Nancy and Jarvis - as well as Suzanne and Guy before them - were all fantastic with resident management/maintenance tasks. During COVID-19 I really missed Real Star’s events that encouraged everyone to mingle; hopefully they can come back soon once it is safe again! All in all, Secord House gave me an excellent stay!

I've been living in my suite for a few months now, and I'm very content. When I first viewed it, it was being renovated; so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the staff were much more courteous than anywhere else I had visited before. Plus, being two blocks away from work and close to various stores and parks was an added benefit. Leanne allowed me to come back a few times during the renovations which made me more confident in my decision. Once finished with the renovations, I could tell that everything had been completed with care - as someone who grew up with a carpenter father, this was important to me! One minor issue occurred when I moved in but they took care of it right away; since then there have been no other problems. The move-in incentives were also great - free month of rent plus half deposit for certain professionals and cheaper parking than most downtown locations - plus street parking for guests across the street! To top it off, this location is tucked away nicely yet still close to everything; there has not been any noisy or rowdy people here either which was something that worried me due to working odd hours and needing rest during the day.
