Had there been an option to give a negative review I would have done so Timbercreek Communities needs to hire people who reflect the quality of services they offer The interaction with their representative at 123 10th Ave was terrible and speaks volumes about management The person calling herself JENNIFER was very impolite and harsh in her speech towards us Instead of informing us what the rent for a onebedroom unit looks like after we asked she gave us a strange look and bluntly demanded to know if we would pay 2000 monthly We would consider it if there were appealing apartments along with wellmannered representatives however no apartment officially has 2k as its monthly rent so what was this person thinking On top of that she didnt show or talk about anything including the gymparty room or parking area apart from inquiring where we live and how many people are in our family upon saying two she audibly expressed shock Lastly when asking if we had minimum income requirements to be eligible which my husband earns three times more than that her facial expression said it all I am still uncertain why she treated us in such manner was it my headscarf or skin color that made her think we don't make enough money or cant utilize the gym My husband and I will never rent from them after experiencing such a hostile welcome more ... hide ...

I am pleased to provide an update on the Chartwell Harbours Retirement Residence located in Coventry Hills in NE Calgary My mother has lived at the residence for over a year now and her positive opinion of it has not changed The suites are wellappointed with amenities like stovetop microwave and dishwasher plus the food service remains of excellent quality In addition to that there is a wide range of activities available for residents to socialize and keep their minds and bodies active from hallway exercises to bingo to virtual travel sessions There are also happy hours every Thursday where staff serve themed beverages and snacks One of the strongest aspects favoring Chartwell is its staff who keep families informed at all times especially during the COVID pandemic when they had an admirable record compared to other facilities with very few cases among either residents or staff members This speaks volumes about how well Chartwell managed lockdown protocols while keeping everyone safe and sound The monthly rental fee is reasonable given the lovely suites great dining options which my mom loves and various activities available plus theres a shopping complex within walking distance which offers grocery stores drug stores etc All taken into consideration I highly recommend Chartwell Retirement Residence as a suitable choice for your aging loved ones who can continue living independently while enjoying its amenities and activities more ... hide ...
