I lived in a townhouse next to Jasmine and my neighbor Nick McQuik had not experienced such an accommodation before The building was cheaply constructed and the current management McCor provide very little maintenance or repairs When they do attempt to fix something its often done poorly and mess is left behind Thankfully the troublesome tenants were evicted not long ago so it is usually quiet apart from some late night drunken revelers When someone moves out of a unit all they do is patchwork and paint everything white you can tell where repairs have been made as the walls are textured and wavy Windows are old with glass panes often being replaced rather than new windows being installed however some bathrooms feature newer models If you take a tour around youll find that these townhouses are not deserving of five stars mine included an old stove and fridge which was loud thermostat hard to turn on loose outlets with inadequate amountplacement no basement outlets or lighting which require additional lamps to be brought in Everything looks half done then painted white walls ceiling railing doors door hinges handles etc plus an ancient heater wasting energy due to its age with white plaster used for asbestos removal present too All in all these townhouses may be affordable but definitely should not receive top accolades for this alone Ive personally had many issues when dealing with management which has caused much frustration recently mail delivery stopped due to snowcovered sidewalks more ... hide ...

We are currently renting from Carlton Park Gardens and have already signed a tenancy agreement paid for damage and obtained keys Upon entry of the suite it was filthy carpets not vacuumed or shampooed oven dirty and dishwasher leaking and dirty balcony not cleaned bathroom cupboards drawers still had food remnants plus cat hair vents full of cat hair dirt The lights were off due to hydro being cancelled We were told that the carpets vents were freshly cleaned yet nothing had been done We got bitten by bed bugsfleasdust mites which caused sores requiring antibiotics topical creams When we went to check out instead of taking our money the property manager wanted us to leave within one hour or she would call the police Since we made a complaint with pictures showing filth carpeting issues to head office at Capreit our hydro was turned off leaving us in darkness for 4 days food went bad in fridge no coffee nor use of oven We are still fighting this as they will not accept our money we have lost furnituremoney suffered physical pain The original suite advertised showed stainless steel appliances hardwood floors but when asked the site administrator denied responsibility for pictures used in ad posing as property manager who signed intenttorent forms as landlord which is where all problems began If you rent with Capreit be warned that there may be unprofessional inaccuracies so make sure youre prepared more ... hide ...

This place has some great features like stunning views access to water and Snug Cove nice greenblue decor and a wellproportioned shower with pebble flooring However the road down is quite narrow and steep necessitating a 4x4 vehicle and the stay felt somewhat transactional The kitchen has plenty of amenities but there is too much clutter making it hard to find things Also the bed is built on multiple levels reducing head clearance to 5 feet in one side with sharp objects poking through the carpet near it Moreover some of the information provided was out of date which was irritating Additionally you can hear every step taken by people in upstairs rental suite and more maintenance needs to be done such as scrubbing mold from shower or sanding rough outdoor chair arms All in all its an amazing setting with room for improvement more ... hide ...

Ive been living here for 3 years and its not the best place but its also not the worst Theyre currently upgrading the elevators Another bonus is that there are no critters crawling around no roaches or bed bugs The apartments are also a decent size All in all Im happy living here
