The apartment I am renting is quite big for the price and the neighborhood is great however the management leaves much to be desired The super has a nasty attitude when responding to any inquiries or requests for work orders he quickly dismisses any questions asked and refuses to give tenants the benefit of a doubt Furthermore ants and carpet beetles are rampant in the building making it hard to get rid of on your own When asking for help in dealing with this problem after exhausting all other solutions I was told Id have to pay for it Upon opening up baseboard heaters to clean them out there was an excessive amount of dust present along with old QTips and subway sub club stamps from decades ago suggesting that proper cleanings may not have been done between tenants Requests made concerning drafty windows inspection as well as weather stripping around a patio door were met with indifference by him In addition he has gaslighted many tenants including myself at times Theres also flooding coming from upstairs apartment that goes through my walls but no solutions were offered regarding this issue either leading me to suspect mildew might be growing behind them due to this lack of action taken by the property manager Its understandable that an old building will not be perfect but what really disappoints me is how dismissive they are towards normal tenant concerns with only one exception The woman who works in their office is wonderfully kind and helpful which makes me try addressing my emails specifically to her so more ... hide ...

Angered by the managements payment for fake reviews living at Frontier proved to be a great letdown Soundproofing is substandard eg racing carsbikes on 417 noisy neighbors and OTrain grinding while maintenance has been haphazard over the last 6 months urgent repairs had to be reported multiple times before any action was taken Additionally the secured parking garage saw cars broken into with no follow up after dashcam footage was provided Unfortunately EV charging rates are exorbitant 250h monthly parking cost and cellphone reception is poor throughout home internet must stay up at all costs Furthermore despite the Luxer parcel system working great if delivery companies use it and decent appliances for a rental propertyrents are too high for the service provided Sadly do not believe all 5 star reviews without any comment as they clearly have been paid for in order to hide negative onesa shameful act indeed Lastly managements boilerplate reply of taking concerns seriously is just that boilerplate as this review and other things were brought up months prior but no effort or commitment was made to resolve them more ... hide ...

The property management has been difficult to deal with All they care about is collecting rent each month Some of the problems I have experienced include 1 When I moved in they asked me to make preauthorized payments which is outlawed by the Residential Tenancies Act 2 Despite sending multiple emails and forms they have failed to add my parking payment to the preauthorization for rent 3 For four months now one of two working elevators the third being broken for over a year has been making loud noises that disturb us day and night all we get from them is excuses from their contracted company delaying repairs 4 Bedbugs are coming out of walls and heating system indicating a buildingwide infestation 5 Although some tenants do not meet their obligations for cleanliness this does not excuse managements responsibility to uphold tenants right to enjoy their home free of issues such as bedbugs or loud noises These violations can be taken up under the Residential Tenancies Act more ... hide ...
