The squeaky noise could be either the LRT or an elevator that needs oiling. To adjust hot water you need an Allen key and for the water saving shower head you need a bigger drill bit (problem solved). For retired folks, having a pool table is essential! I have been living here for a few years and I enjoyed it when I first moved in. The staff was friendly and everything was new. Unfortunately, the last 6 months have been a decline and there has been little done to fix it. Issue 1: I’ve complained multiple times about the parking up front with no response. Those who eat at the sushi restaurant take up all of the spots, even though I pay an extra $50 each month for parking. In contrast, individual posts show that spots in the back are reserved; why can't they do that upfront? Problem 2: The parcel room outside access door is often left unlocked so delivery drivers can get inside without having to enter the building; yet they leave large packages outside because they won’t fit into lockers, which allows anyone from outside to take them! This must be addressed right away. Additionally, it would be great if more care was taken of the exterior of the building as well - there used to be a lovely green space but now it's filled with dirt and trash which is disheartening. The positives here such as a good location and modern units don’t make up for these issues; after 2 1/2 years, I think rethinking my lease renewal may be necessary soon.

Living here has several drawbacks: vehicles being broken into (including the parking garage), noise pollution from the 417 and Otrain, a filthy building, unsanitary lobby bathrooms, zero security, and no concierge after the previous management left. The only upside is having fake wood in your apartment that looks decent. A month later, Frontier hired cleaning staff and a Concierge which is good news; however this place isn't worth it compared to other places with similar prices or lower. Be wary of any 5 star reviews here as they may be paid ones or generic copy paste reviews.

Angered by the management's payment for fake reviews, living at Frontier proved to be a great letdown. Soundproofing is substandard (e.g., racing cars/bikes on 417, noisy neighbors, and O-Train grinding) while maintenance has been haphazard over the last 6 months; urgent repairs had to be reported multiple times before any action was taken. Additionally, the "secured" parking garage saw cars broken into with no follow up after dashcam footage was provided. Unfortunately, EV charging rates are exorbitant (2.50$/h + monthly parking cost) and cellphone reception is poor throughout; home internet must stay up at all costs! Furthermore, despite the Luxer parcel system working great if delivery companies use it and decent appliances for a rental property--rents are too high for the service provided. Sadly, do not believe all 5 star reviews without any comment as they clearly have been paid for in order to hide negative ones--a shameful act indeed. Lastly, management's boilerplate reply of taking concerns seriously is just that: boilerplate as this review and other things were brought up months prior but no effort or commitment was made to resolve them.
