We have been living here for some time now and Im so glad we don't have to keep giving our money to Cogir the property management company and 200 Elm Place Where do I even start When we initially stepped into the building something seemed off good spot reasonable rent and a great exterior view But the inside was empty with no one around Weve been renting homesapartments in Toronto for over 6 years but had never heard of this place before it appears as though Cogir has done its best to make sure everyone knows about their horrible treatment of tenants and their awful maintenance of the structure Thats probably why there are mostly new students living here who are not aware of companies like Cogir or their staff members Anybody who has lived in the city for 3 years wouldnt dream of signing a lease at this placeManagement was extremely impolite and aggressive when we first visited to look at the apartment it felt like they were hiding information on apartment quality costs other rooms difficulties plus they made us feel guilty for asking basic questions Im wellversed in sales so I know how to talk with people however their tone was defensive as if they wanted us out immediately It would be an appalling experience for someone looking to rent here for the first time When we walked into one room it seemed like nobody had cleaned it in months dead bugs everywhere more ... hide ...

This building is one of the most affordable in the area but you should NOT move in Cockroaches are everywhere and management does nothing more than spray down your unit which doesnt even work since the whole building is infested They promised a gym two years ago but still havent started it instead they converted a laundry room into a new rentcontrolled unit 2022-10-12T07:32:17Z
This building is one of the most affordable in the area but you should NOT move in Cockroaches are everywhere and management does nothing more than spray down your unit which doesnt even work since the whole building is infested They promised a gym two years ago but still havent started it instead they converted a laundry room into a new rentcontrolled unit Plus on the first floor theres an entire daycare center that will wake you up with screaming children no matter what floor you live on To make matters worse theyve tried twice to increase rent beyond yearly guidelines despite only making cosmetic changes and are currently working on the parking garage foundation causing shaking and drilling noises throughout With all these renovations coming nonstop theyll likely apply for another rent raise above the guideline increase this year Don't forget that their elevators are constantly out of service or breaking down and nothing has been done to fix them either Do not move here as they wont even disclose that their new unit isn't rent controlled more ... hide ...

Were so pleased to be in our new home The area has amazing restaurants and shops nearby plus a micropark for walking the dog We love that the building has 3 elevators so theres no waiting around Despite being older it looks like its been maintained over time The kitchen is great with all new stainless steel appliances a dishwasher and granite countertopsthe 2022-10-02T06:32:17Z

I have been living at 357 Rusholme Road for a couple of years and have had a mostly positive experience All staff members are incredibly nice and helpful being both courteous and professional I must say this is one of the best property managements Ive encountered The common areas are always kept clean theres security at night regular fire drills and pest control Moreover Sterling Karamar provides an online tool that lets you pay rent or book maintenance from anywhere The units are larger than your typical condo and come with great views of the neighborhood as well as nearby parks which is perfect during COVID One downside is theres often garbage lying around outside since its not stored in an enclosed facility furthermore theres no AC in the units windows can be thin making it hot in summer drafty in winter but that seems to be pretty standard for older apartments All things considered though its good value for money Hopefully this review helps someone out more ... hide ...

I would give a rating of zero stars if that were an option The way this building is managed has been extremely disappointing FinanciallyAdministratively the management office has doublecharged rent lost important forms and not apologized when making a mistake Furthermore they have questioned residents on whether they live there and acted coldly and rudely when requests for help were made multiple occupants have complained to the landlord tenant board about this As for maintenance don't expect requests to be fulfilled promptly or at all issues like plaster falling off ceilings broken light switches that wont turn off and stoves randomly turning off can take months to be addressed Additionally the elevators look nice but are often nonfunctional All in all I do NOT recommend living here very bad customer service experience overall more ... hide ...

This building should be avoided at all costs due to the numerous quality control issues and loud construction noise from condos The largest problem however is the elevators there are only two for the entire building and one of them is either out of service or used for moving This means most of the day there is just one elevator serving everyone in the building causing long wait times during rush hour In addition when central AC is off during fallwinterspring season units become too hot opening windows does not help as they draw warm air from inside and further heat up the unit Other issues include wallsceilings cracking poor water pressure on upper floors frequent disconnections of waterair conditioning with unnecessary regulations in place restricted gym access lack of 247 Concierge frequent fire alarm tests loud traffic noise from 401 heavy traffic on Sheppard making exit and entry difficult as well as frequent theft of lockers and bicycles due to lack of securitythe list goes on more ... hide ...
