Living in Westmount Estates II for five years its generally been okay but the fire alarm system has gone off incorrectly around thirty times during that time span usually at night when trying to sleep Its gotten to the point where if a real fire were to occur many residents like myself wouldnt even bother going down since wed just assume it was another false 2022-11-03T09:32:16Z
Living in Westmount Estates II for five years its generally been okay but the fire alarm system has gone off incorrectly around thirty times during that time span usually at night when trying to sleep Its gotten to the point where if a real fire were to occur many residents like myself wouldnt even bother going down since wed just assume it was another false alarm In addition the elevator often breaks down and there have been multiple breakins my cars lock was even drilled out in the above ground parking lot The underground garage is also frequently compromised Even though there are some cons to living here its still a good place however these issues seem to keep repeating themselves EDIT The fire alarm system appears to be no longer an issue and elevators have been reliable lately Surveillance cameras have been added to the underground lot and brighter lights installed around the outdoor parking area more ... hide ...

Ginette and Brent Byers the realtor own this building which is incorporated with several other buildings in the area Though the rent is affordable its very poorly managed beyond just taking rent money In fact given the overall condition of the units and lack of maintenance or management its overpriced and not worth all the hassle New tenants should expect locks not to be changed on doors when people move inout windowsdoors are in terrible shape units are often unclean upon taking possession landlord wont give 24hour notice before entering residence unless its an emergency there are numerous building code violations plus poor qualityhalfdone repairs Complaints made via textcall usually go ignored 95 of time by far worst issue Emergencies such as fire alarms going off for days lock outs leaks arent addressed either Renovictions have occured in past and bad tenant behavior isn't dealt with either On top of that there are mice issues no heat at times plumbing problems garbage collection issues lack of parking spaces due to other tenants stealing them with no repercussions no maintenace in common areas broken laundry machines snow removal icy conditions neglected mail delivery not happening etc My advice don't waste your money time herelower rent might seem attractive but comes at a high cost endless headaches more ... hide ...
