Ginette and Brent Byers (the realtor) own this building, which is incorporated with several other buildings in the area. Though the rent is affordable, it's very poorly managed - beyond just taking rent money. In fact, given the overall condition of the units and lack of maintenance or management, it's overpriced and not worth all the hassle. New tenants should expect locks not to be changed on doors when people move in/out; windows/doors are in terrible shape; units are often unclean upon taking possession; landlord won't give 24-hour notice before entering residence (unless it's an emergency); there are numerous building code violations plus poor quality/half-done repairs. Complaints made via text/call usually go ignored 95% of time - by far worst issue! Emergencies such as fire alarms going off for days, lock outs, leaks aren't addressed either. Reno-victions have occured in past and bad tenant behavior isn't dealt with either.
