The pandemic has been a disruptive period for those living at Montgomery Village yet some things remain unchanged The staff have been incredibly supportive to the residents and are always willing to lend a helping hand with whatever task is needed Theyve worked hard to make sure everyone can enjoy their favourite meals during this time Meanwhile the other residents are considerate of one anothers privacy when it comes to conversations and interactions The Lifestyles Activities managers also keep us active with various activities tailored towards each persons skillset Health Canada guidelines have been followed strictly here so that everyone remains safe throughout the pandemic however our spirits remain just as high here at Montgomery Village Last but not least the maintenance team is responsible for installing and repairs an immense task given how many suites here require upkeep more ... hide ...

I am here to update my review about this place as an adult rather than a university student The best thing to come out of it was meeting Jada and her colleagues at the rental office they were always friendly and helpful even when I was leaving The location is great close to stores restaurants gas stations and more Despite the fact that the buildings are quite old they are still an ideal spot for students due to their price and surroundings Unfortunately you will be dealing with spiders and other bugs both inside and outside your unitbuilding as well as in the amenities such as the laundry room This is due to its proximity to Mooneys Bay and Experimental Farm Road which makes it attractive for these crittersThe only star I can give this place is for its staff members warm hospitality and its location alone everything else falls short of expectations The apartments feel dirty no matter how often you clean them spiders everywhere both inside even if you never opened a window outside between windows etc spiders in the laundry room when taking out freshly washed clothes You might want to live here if youre SpiderMan or don't have a car but anyone else should think twice Living here would be nothing short of regretful more ... hide ...

Its been a couple of months since the management shifted and I must say it has been the most inconsiderate landlord Ive ever encountered No customer service skills they don't know how to handle tenants Especially Lorelei the property manager she doesnt understand how to maintain tenants satisfaction She acts as if she is a lawyer and just throws out rules in 2022-11-04T12:02:19Z
Its been a couple of months since the management shifted and I must say it has been the most inconsiderate landlord Ive ever encountered No customer service skills they don't know how to handle tenants Especially Lorelei the property manager she doesnt understand how to maintain tenants satisfaction She acts as if she is a lawyer and just throws out rules instead of trying to resolve complaints from tenants about the building There are many other issues such as expensive visitor parking fees recurrent waterdrainage problems and construction that begins at 7am If you ask her for them to start later for some sleep in time she will simply reply with by law they can begin drilling at 7am Its all about money and laws for her not caring about tenants needs whatsoever All in all I would NOT RECOMMEND this place You might have a hard time unless they change the lady managing this building more ... hide ...

I lived at 257 Lisgar for 5 years recently moving out There were nice people but we had to deal with pests like roaches bedbugs and mice After four years of being told the toilet would be replaced it still hadnt been done Windows were supposed to be cleaned in June and never happened appliances were small and dated with no AC or modern heating The pool and s 2022-09-22T12:32:16Z
I lived at 257 Lisgar for 5 years recently moving out There were nice people but we had to deal with pests like roaches bedbugs and mice After four years of being told the toilet would be replaced it still hadnt been done Windows were supposed to be cleaned in June and never happened appliances were small and dated with no AC or modern heating The pool and saunas closed due to COVID were poorly maintained before that Parcels got stolen often including my bike from someone who lived in the building security cameras didnt work either Taggart took no responsibility for the mailroom security eitherThe positives of living there included cheap rent and proximity to restaurants government offices and public transport plus the property management staff was generally nice kept common areas clean Beware though Taggart is planning on constructing a 27storey building just behind 257 Lisgar which will result in increased noise for at least a year if not more more ... hide ...

We have been living here for more than a year and are ready to move on The building has nice amenities is trendy and centrally located but the finishes are cheap and management is disorganized with boxes and papers in their office even after a year We had maintenance issues that were not addressed properly for example we told them about the broken caulking in our shower which was letting water seep underneath likely leading to mold however they only attempted one fix before giving up They do not seem to care much about the structural health of the building or its tenants who may be exposed to hazardous mold Upon moving in we asked management if there would be any short term rentals they stated no but recently found out units on our floor are being rented out for short stays through Premiere Suites There is always someone new moving in without wearing masks also adding pandemic related risks as they have access to shared spaces like mailroom and parking garage with just a key fob The parking garage is too tight resulting in many cars getting damaged while trying to park including ours when we returned home one day finding an unknown car parked in it master list from the onsite rep was outdated with spots marked open occupied by other vehicles it took us almost an hour before finding a spot Doors including parking garage door break often there was water leaking from main corridor roof at one point and elevators frequently become unavailable for hours leaving only one working for entire building at times more ... hide ...
