I would not be leaving this apartment complex anytime soon due to its cleanliness, modernity, and reasonable prices for the one-bedroom corner units (floor plan 1A) which get beautiful light and views. It is also nice that I never hear any noise from other units. The elevators can sometimes be a bit undependable; however, I rarely experience long waiting periods.

My move into a studio unit at Hintonburg Connection was an incredibly positive experience. The Colonnade Bridgeport team, from the leasing agents and residential coordinators to the maintenance staff, were all professional and polite. They acted quickly to address any issues tenants had, and were happy to answer my questions about the property. Everyone feels safe and secure under their masking policy during the COVID pandemic. I am also excited that pets are allowed in the building - it's rare these days! The building has some amazing amenities such as a brand new fitness area on its top floor, with stunning views of Gatineau Hills and Parliament from its rooftop terrace/BBQ patio common area which I can't wait for summer to enjoy! Being in Hintonburg is fantastic too - close to LRT station and trendy Wellington West Village; one of Ottawa's most sought after neighbourhoods! Highly recommend this place!

We have been living here for more than a year and are ready to move on. The building has nice amenities, is trendy and centrally located, but the finishes are cheap and management is disorganized (with boxes and papers in their office even after a year). We had maintenance issues that were not addressed properly – for example, we told them about the broken caulking in our shower which was letting water seep underneath, likely leading to mold; however, they only attempted one fix before giving up. They do not seem to care much about the structural health of the building or its tenants who may be exposed to hazardous mold. Upon moving in we asked management if there would be any short term rentals; they stated no but recently found out units on our floor are being rented out for short stays through Premiere Suites. There is always someone new moving in without wearing masks also adding pandemic related risks as they have access to shared spaces like mailroom and parking garage with just a key fob. The parking garage is too tight resulting in many cars getting damaged while trying to park including ours when we returned home one day finding an unknown car parked in it – master list from the on-site rep was outdated with We have been living here for more than a year and are ready to move on.
