In regards to 21 Highfield Park Drive I can attest that the saying you get what you pay for is accurate Though rent is cheap and the location convenient the apartment itself falls shortbeing small and having poor noise insulation Furthermore my buildings front and back doors had broken locks all year despite complaints There are no cameras either mailboxes a 2022-10-24T10:32:17Z
In regards to 21 Highfield Park Drive I can attest that the saying you get what you pay for is accurate Though rent is cheap and the location convenient the apartment itself falls shortbeing small and having poor noise insulation Furthermore my buildings front and back doors had broken locks all year despite complaints There are no cameras either mailboxes are located outside without needing to enter a secure area but they can be easily opened with keys or knife During my stay this happened multiple times without consequence because of lack of cameras The surrounding area is good near a bus hub etc though Highfield itself isn't necessarily the nicest neighbourhoodnot as bad as it used to be however On the plus side cats and dogs are allowed which is a bonus if you have pets When I tried to terminate my lease early by subletting they turned down several applicants without explanation more ... hide ...

Ive been living at this building since 2013 and here are my pros cons in bullet points rather than writing a full reviewPROS Cheap rent for a great size apartment Hardwood flooring in the living room tile kitchen tubshower combo HUGE storage closet in most units Elevator can fit 3person couch Lots of cupboards comes with stovefridge Balcony on 2nd floor plenty of parking insideoutside Big bedrooms living room owner is helpful if you have trouble paying rent Washing machines on each floor uses reloadable card not cash Pop machines available in some laundry rooms mailboxes in lobby theyll hold packages Cats and small animals allowed no dogs The main lobby door has a buzzer CONS Weed smoking was common before it was legalised and still happens today smoking allowed in the building balcony yuck Fire alarm gets triggered or pulled 12 times monthly by someone stupid My car was broken into twice while I lived here no security cameras that cover parking lot or anywhere else outside Parking lot takes ages for snow to be cleared off Building is generally run down with tenants having no respect for it leaving food trash etc around hall more ... hide ...
