Ive been living at Villages on Madison for five years now and Im in a one bedroom apartment Its far bigger than the other ones Ive seen or lived in before which makes me feel safe Every laundry room has a key that only residents of the building know so its secure The management team are great Heidi is the office manager and Aaliyah is her assistant theyre both friendly and always willing to help The maintenance guys are amazing as well requests get dealt with either on the day or the very next dayThe property looks beautiful theres a swimming pool kiddie pool playground area and even sidewalks for people to walk on if they want exercise Overall I love my home here at Villages on Madison and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to live more ... hide ...

I strongly suggest avoiding this company for renting apartments My family and I lived there for two years and had numerous issues Right after we moved in I reported a loud banging sound coming from the wall of our bedroom but the management company dismissed it as normal building settling during their daytime inspection After countless sleepless nights I emailed executives asking to do something about it they inspected in the evening and agreed it was loud so they put a hole in our wall to fix it During our stay the building was sold to a new management with same staff that had little information available The walking trails near were nice but full of ticks ponds were not swimmable though may be suitable for fishing there were often policeambulances around too packages were inconveniently delivered only at office hours garage was tight with other large vehicles making navigation difficult When we decided to move out by end of January had given 30 days notice manager offered two options pay 250rent till rerenting or 2000250 opted last due to problems with manager who refused showing until keys handed over illegally which another finally allowed as well as ending lease at Feb 28 instead of April 30 due to issues experienced earlier Even then wasnt done didnt auto withdraw rent in February without explanation from them not registered with BBB making complaints hard Based on my experience here would never rent from this company again if given the choice more ... hide ...

I lived at Brownlofts during the 201718 school year as it was close to medical school and the property manager Kylee was quick to respond and take care of issues The 1 bedroom apartments are nice with stainless steel appliances and plenty of space but their price doesnt quite match up with the amenities compared to nearby apartments such as inunit laundry and exercise facilities I wasnt expecting not to receive my entire security deposit back despite spending hours cleaning before moving out Another tenant experienced a similar problem they were charged for two hours cleaning despite thoroughly cleaning before leaving Furthermore when I moved in there was dirt on the carpet that hadnt been vacuumed Brownlofts is popular among undergraduates which leads to noise during weekends and messes left behind like vomit outside the elevator entrance To top it off there were issues with air conditioning that no amount of maintenance requests could fix until just prior to move out when my electricity bill shot up over 150 dollars from its normal 30 dollar charge due to this issue not being addressed until then All in all Brownlofts is livable but if youre looking for something without unexpected costs Id suggest renting from somewhere else more ... hide ...

Living here for only 3 days and I already regret it The unit was disgustingly dirty when I moved in with dirt crumbs and dust everywhere the bathroom sink was dripping the toilet ran on its own the trim around the baseboards was peeling off and paint from the ceiling which looks like it might contain asbestos was coming off too Also there is a crack in one of the bedroom windows and broken mini blinds The supposed free internet can hardly load my emails or stream Netflix due to its low speed Management has been unhelpful since Day 1 they never answer their phones in their office located inside this building I had to leave an emergency maintenance message which said I would receive a call back within 24 hours The only positive sides of this place are its location near campus though it is noisy because theres a bar downstairs and new washing machines installed recently Trust me don't move here or you will regret it more ... hide ...
