There are many drawbacks to living in this particular apartment complex I experienced this firsthand when I moved in there was a tenant who was loudly complaining about the buildings conditions She wasnt wrong either too much foot and elevator traffic the front elevator doesnt stop and no recognition of my work schedule or scheduled maintenance Maintenance personnel even came into my bedroom while I was sleeping to change my furnace filter and test smoke alarms On top of that the furnace broke down on Christmas and it took over a week for someone to come inspect it but only during hours when I had to be asleep for work Then they tried to enter again with no warning given other than a day notice necessitating two hours of vacation time just so I could sleep No rent reduction was offered either but instead a threatening letter stating that it is my responsibility to provide heat for the unit To top it all off there are selfslamming doors with thin windows causing cold air drafts throughout the hallway which is unheated not forgetting extra fees added onto an already high rent rate This kind of unethical behavior should be illegal more ... hide ...
