Hillside Walk Apartments are a great choice for pet owners There is an abundance of offleash areas east of the building as well as a small fenced gravel area for potty breaks Poop bags are available on the first floor and at 3 stations outside The majority of dogs get along and there arent any barkers Since late 2020 the building has had a new manager who does an excellent job running it smoothly Residents who obey the rules will love it here those who disturb others peace noise smoking weed abusive attitude will need to find another place to live The maintenance staff does an excellent job maintaining cleanliness in the building though occasionally the elevator may be unreliable but never for long periods of time Rules and regulations established by Residential Tenancy are strictly followed with lots of notice provided prior to maintenance or entry requests I don't hear my neighbors unless theyre playing loud bass music due to me living on the top floor overall I have had a positive experience here which was essential when we needed petfriendly housing over winter months more ... hide ...

This place is not worth living in After spending a winter here and informing the front office about the window condensation dripping on to my bed their response was to open my window during winter I was planning to move out earlier but then COVID19 happened and my income became uncertain Furthermore I told them that mold spores were landing close to my bed as it had to be placed against the wall due to lack of space My mattress also became moldy Paying rent here each month was a struggle as keeping mildew off the walls seemed impossible Upon moving out I noticed how bad it actually was at bottom of walls The gym went through construction most times while I stayed here 15 yrs which resulted in cockroaches entering higher floors hence exterminators came every 46 weeks for some time period Also being located near hospital means sirens going off frequently throughout night which can be problematic if you are a light sleeper additionally construction noises on street below reportedly go on until 330am sometimes this alone makes living here an absolute headache Mail theft has also been reported by residents Staff is generally nice but their response left me with no choice but bear mildew and mold growth in apartment another resident complained about same issue yet received same answer from staff If you decide upon staying here good luck as there are better options available for cheaper price range more ... hide ...
