Living here for nearly a year has been exhausting The ceiling leaked when it rained and the paint in the living room peeled off and fell It took them a month to get it to stop leaking but Im still waiting for them to fix the paint Additionally the refrigerator shut down twice without warning and once I was stuck in an elevator for half an hour when it just stopped working Homeless people hung around the main entrance during wintertime and some even got into the building yelling loudly in stairways somebody even kicked my door aggressively one night due to there being no security Management did nothing about this issue with safety either theres not even an automatic door so if you have heavy items youre out of luck 1900month is too much money for a place like this their emergency line and building manager may be helpful but who wants to call frequently After long days at work home should be somewhere where one can relax and destress how can that happen if my home is constantly giving me trouble more ... hide ...

I want to share a bad experience of living in the Main Street Apartment on 107 Avenue I have been living here for four months and face many issues that jeopardize my safety The main issue is that there are no cameras in any of the buildings and the door locks do not work properly so anyone can enter into the building To make matters worse two weeks ago there was a robbery in my apartment building homeless people also frequent this area and spend the night inside I have brought up these issues with management multiple times but no one has taken any action Therefore I advise everyone against taking residence at Main Street Apartment if nothing changes soon then I will take it up with regional managers to address these problems more ... hide ...

Many people have had unpleasant experiences when trying to obtain information by calling and Ive heard multiple accounts of this however as someone who has stayed in this building for nearly 3 years my experience was positive enough to warrant a review The rent is inexpensive for its location and size other apartments nearby with the same price do not include utilities like this one does 25month for bachelors and 30month for 1 bedrooms for hydro The bachelor room I rented included a separate kitchen and large bathroom which were both more appealing than other small rooms with an open kitchen near the couch or bed Additionally the rooftop deck allowed me to read while waiting on my laundry there are onsite facilities here Repairs were completed promptly when needed even before expected at times While some of the employees in the rental office werent always helpful my landlord was quick to respond and provide help if necessary In conclusion if youre searching for an affordable place downtown then this is a good option more ... hide ...
