Buildings that are gross. Landlords who are always switching. Apartment was dirty when I arrived. They tried to make me pay for the keys even though I already returned them (had to call 3 times for them to correct it). My neighbor had bedbugs, and they didn't tell me about it. When I asked to have my place sprayed as a precaution, they took forever getting back to me. I got rid of all my things and attempted to break the lease - however, they wouldn't let me pay for a few months so that they could clean and rent it out again.

I want to share a bad experience of living in the Main Street Apartment on 107 Avenue. I have been living here for four months, and face many issues that jeopardize my safety. The main issue is that there are no cameras in any of the buildings, and the door locks do not work properly, so anyone can enter into the building. To make matters worse, two weeks ago there was a robbery in my apartment building; homeless people also frequent this area and spend the night inside. I have brought up these issues with management multiple times but no one has taken any action. Therefore, I advise everyone against taking residence at Main Street Apartment; if nothing changes soon then I will take it up with regional managers to address these problems.

I had been living in a place for one year and then moved to a two bedroom in the same building. Unfortunately, after three months, I spotted some cockroaches. It took two months before they fumigated it but even then, it was not done properly. Therefore, I asked to be let out of my lease because they were not fulfilling their end of the agreement; I asked for the rent back as well as them to fumigate the source of the infestation. To this day there are still bugs in that building crawling on ceilings and walls of common areas - never will I rent from Mainstreet again.
