Innova is a nice building however many reasons exist for not renting there They ask for deposits for all keys and even the air conditioner remote which is illegal in Quebec Furthermore they charge an appliance rental fee which is questionable since its an extra cost on top of rent If they overcharge you its up to you to get the money back they wont apologize 2022-10-08T18:32:17Z
Innova is a nice building however many reasons exist for not renting there They ask for deposits for all keys and even the air conditioner remote which is illegal in Quebec Furthermore they charge an appliance rental fee which is questionable since its an extra cost on top of rent If they overcharge you its up to you to get the money back they wont apologize when at fault It appears as if they make an effort to take more money from tenants with additional fees Inspections are scheduled quickly yet repairs are slow and can take weeks we were without a working AC for two months with Innova pushing back dates and eventually ignoring us 30 degrees in the apartment Inspections come with 8 hour time frames which means being available 95 on whatever weekday thats chosen possibly not showing up so needing to be available the next day too Renters should be prepared to do extra work in order to avoid getting scammed when renting from Innova more ... hide ...

The apartments are quite nice but they do need some improvements My flooring has chips in spots and the toilet keeps running Communication with the building managers and head office can be confusing for instance if I call about a repair it is not always made clear that someone will arrive two days later instead of calling in advance Though once the work order was submitted it got completed quickly Additionally when advertising on Kijiji their ad stated parking costs 80 without specifying whether that was for underground or above ground parking which turns out to be 80 in general Furthermore the finance department emailed me about an outstanding balance without having specified beforehand that payment had to be made at first and last It would help if they were more specific with their advertisements more ... hide ...
