The apartments are quite nice, but they do need some improvements. My flooring has chips in spots and the toilet keeps running. Communication with the building managers and head office can be confusing; for instance, if I call about a repair it is not always made clear that someone will arrive two days later instead of calling in advance. Though, once the work order was submitted it got completed quickly. Additionally, when advertising on Kijiji, their ad stated parking costs $80 without specifying whether that was for underground or above ground parking; which turns out to be $80 in general. Furthermore, the finance department emailed me about an outstanding balance without having specified beforehand that payment had to be made at first and last. It would help if they were more specific with their advertisements.

If youre considering relocating here think twice Last year tenants had to face a hearing due to the landlord raising rent by more than 5 Additionally they asked for money for the parking lot that was halffixed and after three months was just as broken as before Even though we were paying 25month for parking they wanted us to up it to 40month The tenants refused and still pay the same rate today In addition we had to pay for a building automation system that was supposed to regulate temperature but didnt work now new tenants have to purchase their own electricity whereas current tenants pay allinclusive parking fees If you need repairs in your unit be prepared for a struggle one tenant waited over a year and another was told it was his responsibility when it turned out an error on the buildings part caused it Frank is unhelpful with tenant complaints but will act quickly if inconvenienced in any way he even visited our floor at 10pm one night because someone sounded like banging things in their sink Before signing up here talk with other tenants yourself don't take my word alone and if possible seek alternative accommodation because this is no place any renter should live more ... hide ...
