We are satisfied with the First Service management of our building. Our property manager is quick to respond to any issues and endeavors to create a sense of community. They have even added garden boxes for some tenants, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I recently moved into our condominium located in the Oaks building in Coquitlam. This was our first experience working with a property management company, and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Although it is always arduous transitioning to services in a new building, Sonia, area manager, and Ross, strata manager, were both extremely professional and responsive to any assistance we needed. Our current building manager Jonathan has exceeded our expectations; he is amiable, informative and focused on customer service. He provides clear advice which he then executes promptly. We are very content with the services provided by First Service Residential and would not hesitate to recommend them!

No, FirstService Residential isn't a property management company. If they tried to claim that, I'd be an astronaut (which isn't true). I've been living in the Victoria Building in Vancouver for over a year and their management has been completely inadequate. I could draw up a lengthy list of all their issues but it would take too long. To illustrate the situation, here's a picture of our building's garbage room - it's always this untidy due to mismanagement. We have tried reaching out to them about this but were either ignored or dismissed. If you were thinking of getting FSR’s services, get yourself a rock instead - same outcome but without the cost. Hey FSR team - do some actual managing!
