Lets be honest this is not a five star place The facilities restaurants and village staff are good however the rental units are not as advertised Cleanliness has been deteriorating and there are dogs everywhere including a dog babysitting service that is unregistered Simco collects extra money but does not do followup cleaning the pee areas smell disgusting and even dogs will no longer use them The elevators hallways and walls are all growing dirtier every day the cleaning lady isn't given proper tools to do her job like a vacuum cleaner Tenants live in their units seven days a week but cleaning doesnt happen every day Maintenance is okay but when will all the dead shrubs be pulled out and replaced Simco follows up slowly at times as if were bothering them with our concerns they claim theres not enough money in the budget to address issues like these fire extinguisher on ground for three months in parking area no doorstops in storage areas etc My suggestion to those wanting to rent would be to talk to current residents first many items could get resolved but it often takes too long for that to happen Now I hear rents have gone up by more than 10 which makes this carefree lifestyle not worth its price tag anymore more ... hide ...

The hosts owner seem to be overwhelmed with the condition of the property Upon entering the courtyard piles of old materials such as furniture a sewing machine a blower and a mower can be seen The rooms have potential due to their age 1860 but unfortunately they are not wellfurnished they contain furniture that proves to be bulky and useless The bathroom is so small that its impossible for a man to sit on the toilet which occupies five inches from the entrance Mold was also present in some areas On a brighter note the bed was clean and soft but not comfortable A spa hangs outside on the second floor but it is not functional BREAKFAST included in room charge consisted of ham pancakes and cheese sauce which made four out of four people sick due to unsanitary preparation methods where food handlers coughed over food wiped their pants then went back into kitchen without washing hands The lady seemed so stressed out that she lacked patience with us and her husband poor them Nevertheless behind the church lies a panoramic view worth seeing despite all this more ... hide ...

This location is ideal situated near grocery stores hospitals shopping malls gas stations Yorkdale mall and a subway station its also only minutes away from highway 401 There are many great restaurants in the area and the building is pet friendly with certain guidelines in place The neighbourhood here is quite pleasant a mixture of families singles and couples of all ages who are generally very friendly Security is good and attentive while the property management team are helpful with any queries or concerns Theres limited guest parking on the third floor but its still an adequate amount Having lived in the building for 6 months now Im really pleased with my decision theres an onsite gym which isn't like GoodLife or Wynn fitness but has all the necessary machines and weights to get by plus a theatre room party room BBQ terrace which can be rented out I have a southfacing balcony that gets lots of daylight which is great The building backs onto a highway but there isn't much noise at nighttime Its around 10 years old so there are some minor wear tear issues which get fixed quickly by property management who are really accommodating to work with If youre looking for accommodation here then definitely consider it more ... hide ...
