Ive been staying here a few months and am pleasantly astonished Its tranquil clean and sunny The tenants are affable I read some pessimistic appraisals so was a bit anxious initially but you cant depend on only a few bad remarks out of the hundreds living here Additionally when I asked other inhabitants they mostly gave positive reactions The building is ext 2022-09-24T13:02:18Z
Ive been staying here a few months and am pleasantly astonished Its tranquil clean and sunny The tenants are affable I read some pessimistic appraisals so was a bit anxious initially but you cant depend on only a few bad remarks out of the hundreds living here Additionally when I asked other inhabitants they mostly gave positive reactions The building is extremely neat trash is constantly taken away in parking lots There are dedicated cleaners seen in the lobby elevators and floors all the time Management answers queries quickly and they as well as the superintendents are courteous Security personnel have recently begun patrolling stairwells to prevent smoking which had triggered alarms in the past only one alarm since then so far hopefully this trend continues Contrary to what some people said online I havent encountered any homeless or intimidating individuals near the entrances either One downside is that laundry facilities require a major revamp machines don't work properly and you often lose money however its always clean there at least Hopefully changes will continue for improvement purposes going forward more ... hide ...

The 42 Exeter Rd Oxford Tower has peeling wallpaper all over the halls a Pharaoh ant problem and one of its two elevators is always out of order The manager does not address any issues in the units and makes tenants pay for damages like doorknobs or showerheads The windows also leak and take an extended period of time to repair When tenants complain to the m 2022-10-08T19:32:17Z

The property looks great initially however after residing there for a year I realized it is only kept in top shape during busy leasing times Everyone moves in and out at the same months and the leasing office is available during this time period but not when its the off season What I thought was an all new unit had multiple issues a broken garbage disposal with a bad smell leaking sink dishwasher flooding kitchen dryer not working correctly smoke detectors going off from steam and exterior door that don't lockopen properly The blinds are also of bad quality Furthermore trying to get assistance through Taylor automated maintence system doesnt help much either since they have very limited office hours The maintenance team does their best but they don't have proper support With construction going on due to being in a redevelopment zone it impacts daily life of residents as far as which entrances can be used etc Location and amenities are good when taken care of but this property mostly caters to students instead of professionals since theyre always looking for new tenants rather than keeping current ones happy typical signs of corporate mentality and lack of personalization experience here During COVID the leasing office asked me to come into my unit for underwriters not sure why After cleaning my entire place I was left waiting all day just for them to tell me later on that no one was coming afterall All in all its okay place but you should be aware that you won more ... hide ...

I have been a tenant at Yorktown Apartments for three years and the first two were satisfactory thats why I chose to stay However the third year has been nothing short of a disaster I live in building 5 on the first floor which is right next to the main entrance that was recently renovated over summer They increased my rent by 7080 dollars per month when I signed the third lease but failed to inform me of their plans beforehand This means my fiance and I now have to endure constant banging and hammering all day long not ideal for someone who stays home all day Furthermore even after calling into their office and providing feedback via email they paid our neighbor Adam Carl to move out so they could have access to his room without giving us any sort of option or compensation To me this indicates that they care more about what benefits them than taking into account their tenants needs its no wonder they pride themselves on customer service when that is clearly not true At this point any positives have vanished from my experience with Yorktown if anyone else is considering renting here in future I would strongly advise against it due to their lack of consideration for tenants comfort or opinions more ... hide ...
