My father and I had high expectations for our Easter Weekend retreat at Windhorse Farm as it was one of the few nonhotel places open during the off season with great online and wordofmouth reviews We were especially looking forward to the sauna Despite paying 107 with tax for two nights at Wills Cabin we were not prepared for its primitive nature The cabin was not accessible by vehicle and had no electricity or running water nearby bathroom facilities consisted of an outhouse in the trees while shower and standard toilet facilities with running water were located at the office and required guests to refill 10L water jugs from there to their cabin Furthermore we encountered several disappointments mantles in propane lights were old and incorrectly installed cooler wasnt stocked with ice packs kitchen utensils were wornoldlow quality kitchen basics such as coffee makerssalt werent provided one of the water jugs leaked heavily propane tank valve hadnt been opened in advance so it was almost empty sauna lacked a spot to change or rinse off beforeafter use pond intended for swimming had about two feet of dirty water mud decaying organic matter As a result despite having hoped Windhorse Farm would be a location for future trips with friends school groups after only one night we decided to leave early stay elsewhere a waterfront hotel with harbour views in Lunenburg whose daily rate was less than more ... hide ...

THIS BUILDING IS INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020 DO NOT RENT HERE Cockroaches can be found in the apartments hallways laundry room and entryways I have complained multiple times yet they fail to take any action Maintenance requests are ignored and the property managers do not respond Calling head office is ineffective in resolving this issue 2022-10-28T12:32:17Z

The foyer is neat and tidy This building benefits from two lifts and laundry amenities making it a great choice My friends place offers lots of room with three bedrooms a living areadining area and balcony Additionally there is one main bathroom plus an ensuite in the master bedroom
