This is an awful place to call home. It is full of bedbugs, cockroaches and the building is constantly filthy. When I initially considered leasing here, management made it seem like a great spot to live and they were very nice in the beginning...then management became really mean and rude towards us. The laundry machines are nearly always covered in clothes that have been there since the day before and they are unclean! One day I saw someone putting sheets with diarrhea on them into one of them - it was so disgusting!!! Do not rent from this location...if you do, you will regret it.

It is important to note that not all buildings are the same when it comes to reviews. I have seen an effort from management to improve issues from previous years, like fewer security concerns with staircase dwellers and car break-ins, better upkeep of the building, and updated laundry facilities. This has caused me to increase my one star review from before. However, the 2021 situation is still dire; crime and slum living are rampant at these buildings due to inadequate security measures. My husband's car was broken into in January, garage doors remain open and door knobs are broken so FOB systems are useless. The renovations create constant noise pollution as well as pet owners allowing their animals to urinate near elevators or on carpets. Lowering crime rates would require installing video cameras around the parking areas since the underground parking layout at 440 McMurchy can be dangerous due to close quarters and blind spots where violence can occur. Despite no liability for damage or theft in cars, I still feel unsafe living there due its high price tag with no assurance of safety or peace of mind - so where is the security?
