I live at 186 Church Street and am in dire need of some work done on my home. My kitchen, lounge, and room windows, as well as the walls of these rooms, need fixing. My oven is not working either; the floor needs to be tidied up and repainted. In addition to this, my kitchen cabinets and counter tops require maintenance, while the closet door does not shut properly. Even my bathroom rack and sink have to be replaced but no one seems to care about it. I had submitted a request for repairs two months ago but received no response even though it was stated that I would receive one within 48 hours. This management is terrible; anyone who reads this should avoid renting from Met Cap Living Management if they can help it! I will post pictures too!
I have been living in my apartment since before Ranee took over the building. As soon as they got control, they started cost-cutting and removed the full-time landlords on site. Now, if anything needs to be fixed or for any questions you have, you just fill out a maintenance request form or call Ranee. I had an issue with rent a few months ago and called several times during the day for one week but no response (I even left 4 voicemails). On top of that, about 18 months ago Ranee put up a sign outside saying "Luxury Renovated Suites", however all that has been done is redoing the parking lot and buying new washers and dryers. Earlier this year there was an electrical fire due to a leaking pipe that had already been reported but ignored until it got so bad two floors were flooded as well as damaging both elevators which then were refurbished. The electrical closet was fixed also and after some time the smell of burning plastic disappeared. Because of this contractors need to come in frequently at different times which isn't really an issue because we are warned 24 hours ahead; however when nobody is home things go missing like valuables etc., although I won't go into detail on what has been taken from me specifically. All in all avoid any property owned by Ranee since they only get things done when absolutely necessary such as single pane windows shattering due to age or when the fire department breaks down your door necessmore ...hide ...
