    I was informed that I was approved, so all I had to do was put down a $250 deposit. I did this in the office using debit, but the next day, I learned that I wasn't approved and wouldn't be allowed to return for my money. Instead, they said it would be sent to me through mail; however, almost a month has passed and nothing. This is incredibly unprofessional and shady because no explanation was given for why my approval suddenly changed. Adding onto this issue is the fact that they never showed me the apartment I put down money for. They had me believe it was for one place when it actually ended up being another building under them - though they said I'd be able to move in after a few days. This left my living situation in shambles since not only did they withhold my money but also lied about allowing me to move in with rent-free first month after paying the deposit - leaving someone else without a place to stay due to relying on taking over my other lease. In other words, no matter how much you make or how polite you are if you have tattoos and dress according to hot weather conditions it seems like automatic judgement will occur.
