We've been living at 2700 Aquitaine Avenue for more than two decades, and it feels like home to us. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be! Tony and Sandra Janetta, the property managers, are the kindest people we have ever encountered. They listen to our concerns and make sure we know that they have our best interests at heart. They have gone above and beyond to make my dad who is in a wheelchair comfortable; they are even constructing a walk-in shower for him. Tony and Sandra continue to look for ways to renovate all of the apartments in the complex. It's so reassuring that we have such great property managers looking after us! We want to thank them along with all of their employees for making us feel at home here. If you're on the hunt for a family-friendly place by the lake – this is it!
I'm attempting to be as polite as possible--the rent for a newly renovated or not is outrageous. Sure, you get lake views (maybe) and it's close by, but the amount of construction that occurs every month is maddening! I couldn't even enjoy my balcony during peak summer months and didn't have access to storage for half a year. If you live above a new suite, don't expect to get much sleep with all the stomping around. The suites are cheaply made and hearing neighbors' footsteps drove me away. Sharing washers/dryers with 12+ people is its own battle; they never work and maintenance hardly ever shows up when asked. Even if I don't have disabilities, this place isn't very wheelchair-friendly; people had difficulty getting off the curb or up to their buildings, same with entering/exiting underground parking. Plus seeing mothers/fathers having to take their kids up/down stairs was disheartening. It's the little things that pushed me out of there--I'm so glad I left! And if a family member or friend comes over? Good luck finding them parking--tenants usually hog spots or those who can afford $2 an hour don€™t even bother paying for it! Parking enforcement? Yeah right; most spaces were taken due to construction anyway. A crazy man I'm attempting to be as polite as possible--the rent for a newly renovated or not is outrageous. A crazy man would drive at 80 km/h around the complex every 10 minutes blaring music which could've been dangerous considering how many childrenmore ...hide ...
