My first home in Edmonton, Maureen Manor, provided an excellent experience. All customer service staff were consistently courteous and professional, while the building maintenance workers Amir and Glen were always helpful and friendly. In addition to the personnel being top-notch, the building was great as well - it only had 7 units per floor (hard to come by), had amazing views, and was very quiet. Kitchens contained dishwashers which was a big plus; elevators ran quickly and only needed maintenance once during my stay; hallways were always clean or got cleaned promptly; foyer area was really nice; laundry room on every other floor. Furthermore, my unit got sprayed for bug prevention a few times (even though I never encountered bugs myself) which shows that they invest in preventive measures rather than not - making me feel secure. The location is perfect too - close to Valley Park/Grocery Store/Downtown area as well as close to LRT station - perfect for students! Boardwalk also offers incentives for first time renters which is great help with moving costs and helps keep rates competitive - just call them up!
