I absolutely do not recommend renting here. The units are filled with black mould and, when it was exposed during renovations where we lived without a kitchen for over a month, we had to get the health inspector involved and then threaten to go to the rental board in order to receive half off that month's rent. They renovated the units but did a terrible job - the new cabinets didn't fit over the old ones so there were gaps in the floor, they scuffed up paint without patching it after several requests, and they didn't fix items from our walkthrough when we first moved in. Additionally, the windows and doors are extremely drafty resulting in higher heating bills than usual in winter; you can even see daylight through closed doors! Management is terrible as well - they will mislead you before giving you the runaround. Our neighbours sounded like they were constantly trying to kill each other; police often flashed lights around. In fact, last fall there was even a raid involving swat team with assault rifles at one of the units! I witnessed this frightening scene while bike riding with my kids across the road.
