I have been a tenant with Mainstreet since August of 2019 and was delighted with my apartment, but not the area. Initially I had some issues that weren't to my liking, but the building manager talked to the regional manager and they fixed all of them (including new mirror closet doors in bedroom/hallway, accordion doors on linen closet, living room curtains, bedroom blinds, stove). After some time being single in that area and not contented with it; I contacted Mainstreet regarding a transfer. Olga Melnyk displayed me one spot but knew it wouldn't be big enough for my needs. After I discussed my problems with her present dwelling she did something about it and called me a couple days later proposing if I was still searching for an apartment. It ended up being perfect when we arrived at the address; she is so kind-hearted and comprehending plus she knows how to work with clients. She rapidly replies to any queries I have; she has an excellent attitude towards her job and is very committed in helping people find their dream home. Therefore, I highly recommend Olga Melnyk from Mainstreet as well as this company itself when looking for a place to stay – thank you!

I resided at this accommodation for close to two years and it is an old building. There may be some problems with homeless individuals at the parking lot behind the property. Additionally, you may find that it is not up-to-date in terms of its amenities. I had a bad experience with their fire alarms as they kept ringing randomly in the middle of the night. Furthermore, many of the appliances such as washers and dryers were not functioning properly. Additionally, people were often smoking marijuana inside of the building. Despite all these drawbacks, I must give Udey, who is the property manager five stars for making my stay worthwhile; he was very kind and always willing to help tenants out. It appears that the company is attempting to improve their services for their residents going forward.

Renting with Mainstreet Equity Corp was an awful experience. I would give it zero stars if I could. For nine months, I was forced to live with cockroaches and it gave me PTSD. We were constantly finding them on our things, walls and counters-- always scurrying around, giving us a fright. Despite my attempts to be fumigated, they refused because there were no other complaints in the building. They gave all sorts of excuses as to why I had to remain living there; four times they supposedly fumigated but when asked to see the reports or who they used for the job, they said that information was "internal use only." In order to move out we had to take them with us into our new home-- when we asked Mainstreet Equity Corp fumigate this new place too, we were told that wasn't their jurisdiction and so left it up for our new landlords. Renters beware: this is not a rental company worth using even if the rent is cheap!
