So far, so good! My Dad is 87 now and it's time to find an appropriate care setting. Back in the 90s, my Grandma spent a few years at Venta which made Dad want to do the same. Last week we decided to visit and scheduled an appointment with Jolene for a tour. She met us at the door when we arrived; everything was very secure. Jolene showed us two room options, dining area, recreation rooms and the garden - all of which were beautiful and spotless! We were very impressed! Now all that remains is for Dad to get his medical exam before he can officially move in. He has not fully committed yet but Jolene has made it much easier than expected - definitely 5 stars from our experience so far. Fast forward 6 months: On September 1st, Dad finally moved into Venta Manor with some hesitation and shyness. On moving day he was uncertain if this was the right choice but his doctor had assured him that he could always leave after 30 days if needed. Now here we are 6 months later and Dad is doing amazing! His mind is clearer, eyes are brighter, walking better than ever before - even better than what I had hoped for!
