I had a great experience living in Unit 205 of Timbercreek for eight months, from April 2016 to October 2016. Unfortunately, the stench of the garbage bins in front and behind our balcony was unbearable throughout the week - especially on Wednesdays through Sundays. When we complained about it to management, all we were offered was to move to another unit in the same building. After a few months of waiting for one to become available, we found out that prices had gone up so now we'd have to pay an extra $60 per month for a one bedroom apartment even though our contract was still valid. This didn't apply if you wanted something larger than what you already had; i.e if you currently lived in a 1 bedroom and wanted 2 bedrooms then your contract could be extended without additional cost. From this experience I learnt that it's important to research thoroughly before settling on a place - I hadn't anticipated this issue with the garbage bins at all! The neighbourhood itself is lovely and people are very friendly but beware - due to these issues with smell as well as coldness (even when wearing winter cardigans indoors during June-August) - consider other options should you be looking at Unit 210 3315 Fieldgate Drive!
