My partner and I have been living at Sunset Valley for almost three years. Initially, Realstar was the building manager and we found Brandi and Ian to be outstanding in terms of snow removal, sweeping of underground and above ground parking lots, lawn upkeep, etc. During the switch from Realstar to Westbury Rentals we had a contractor enter our suite without prior warning. For a couple of months after Westbury took over it was nearly impossible to contact anyone in their office; we called, emailed, and visited numerous times but never got a response. Eventually when we managed get through our rent hadn't been taken out for three months so $10 000 was mistakenly taken from our account instead; after complaining this amount was reversed but it still took them four weeks to sort out the missing payments. When I asked if anything could be done as compensation (like free parking) I did not hear back. Adding on to this review: although they do sweep the parking lot it is still very dirty with no painted lines; they have rescheduled painting them several times before cancelling each time. Furthermore the common areas (hallways/stairwells/lobby) are not being kept as clean as Realstar used to - I actually went ahead and wiped down one of My partner and I have been living at Sunset Valley for almost three years. The suites were recently renovated which were very roomy - plus having in-suite laundry means you don't need to go elsewhere which is great! Sound does carry so more ... hide ...
