The 4300's management has failed to provide safe living conditions for the hundreds of senior citizens who reside in this 12-storey "luxury" building, especially during Montreal's heat waves which have seen temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius for two consecutive years. This abdication of responsibility and respect for its residents is putting their health and wellbeing at risk. The real estate investment trust Minto Apartment REIT (MI-UN.TO on the TSE) is responsible for owning and managing the 4300, as well as two other Montreal buildings (Haddon Hall and Rockhill), plus properties in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, and Ottawa.
