I recently lived in one of the Aberdeen units in this complex for a year and Im now moving out The unit was nice when I moved in due to it being newly built however the construction wasnt of great quality For example there were carpet issues paint marks on walls and adhesive on cabinets The monthly rent was 1050 but with water sewage electricity and garbage fees included our monthly cost would have been about 1200 excluding internet We found a rental house with double the square footage for the same amount so I would recommend shopping around Garbage service was 28 per month which could be inconvenient as we missed pickups once or twice Staff were friendly though Christian especially who seemed to know everyones name he deserves a raise When you move out they charge at least 230 to clean your unit not stated in lease agreement regardless of its condition more expensive for bigger units There is security that drives through occasionally but they don't do much if someone is smoking weed despite complaints Poolhot tub are usually busy during summer but weight room is nice parking can become difficult after 5 pm2 pm weekdaysweekends respectively although we managed by switching cars around Generally decent tenants here but not great experience due to higher costs annoying garbage service marijuana smell and unclear move out charges 3 stars rating from me Hopefully this helps others make an informed decision before deciding whether or not to live here more ... hide ...

I was a resident at Forest Glen for about a year and had an overall pleasant experience Rent is affordable in comparison to Vancouver and Portland plus the thick concrete beneath the floors eliminates any sound issues Its easy to find parking and there are several bus lines within a block of the complex as well as Walmart Neighborhood Market within walking distance The building was built in the 1960s so some renovations arent perfect but I never felt frustrated with them Management is friendly maintenance is swift usually responding on the same day and most units have air conditioning installed The only downside I noted was with onsite laundry machines that don't seem to mix detergent properly no matter what load size you use you may be better off going to an external laundromat instead Lastly these apartments are ideal for one person households because bedroom walls have a one foot gap from ceiling which can make alone time hard if youre living with someone else All in all its been one of my better places to live due to Michelles great management skills who has kept it relatively peaceful despite its former rowdy reputation my neighbours were all quiet and friendly too which I reciprocated back towards them more ... hide ...
